I am an architecture student possibly having a living donor kidney soon (stable on HD)
I was wondering, does the tac tremor mean that architecture would be unrealistic? Are there any architects on here? Thanks.

Oh don't worry, the tremors go away after the medication dose goes down (they will decrease it within the first year). Continue to pursue your dream and best of luck on the transplant!
Just because some people have tremors doesn't mean you will. I think you are worrying needlessly. You haven't even had the transplant yet!Like we told you in the last post, talk to your transplant team!
You can do anything you want! That is what a transplant enables you to do!!
My tremors are due to Advargraf, sometimes more noticeable ...(.to me ) .. than at other times. Everyone is different-talk your fears over with your specialist/renal team.
I get tremors from time to time. This is the price you have to pay for the transplant but it's still far better then dialysis. Remember a kidney transplant is not a cure to the disease it's only a treatment to help you manage the disease and give you better quality of life. Its like with anything in life there will be good days and there will be bad days, you just have to stick through those bad days and be grateful for everything you have in life. When I had my transplant 2 years ago I thought I would be 100% back to normal but I was wrong. I am probably 60-70% back to normal but it's far better then dialysis. I still have on going health issues I deal with it. You just have to look at the positives and negatives and see which far exceeds the benefits. I know people who refused to get a transplant and stayed on dialysis because they did not want to have all the side effects of the medications. For a young lad like you transplant is good option to think about. Good luck with everything and stay positive.
