My Journey
I had a MRI investigating a
spinal
stenosis
issue, and my spine doc noticed some issues with my groin area. She sent me to a urologist. Subsequently, a blood test showed my PSA was 23. A biopsie showed Gleason 9 in a number of samples. A bone scan also showed positive for cancer cells.

Hello
Unknowingly I was born with C2 and C3 of my neck fused and severe congential
spinal
stenosis
. As long as I can rememember I've had mild vertigo but I didn't suffer with headaches or any pain until expecting my third child at 33.

Is surgery good news?
So at last I have been referred for surgery....the Referral was going to take forever on the NHS so I begged, borrowed and stole to raise £295 to see a private consultant. My appointment was ONE HOUR long! Definitely worth the money for the peace of mind and confidence that he gave me. A week later I

Myelopathy Matters
Unfortunately for me, due to the insidious nature of
spinal
cord
stenosis
, by the time I went to the GP, who adopted a wait & see approach, before sending me for nerve conduction studies testing.

Getting my life back.
Was forcefully pushed, had
spinal
stenosis
surgery & have chronic inflammation, nerve damage, and gait instability. Also-bipolar disorder. I live a mostly isolated life. Suicide is one of my ideations. I've been told it's all, "Me, me, me". I've sought help and here I sit, the same.

Alternative to gabapentin
I have degenerative
spinal
stenosis
,, fibromyalgia, heart problems, etc, but I have trouble with breathing & heart palpitation & weakness from the waist down. I wonder if it is the gabapentin causing this. I take xanax also for anxiety, & cymbalta for depression & fibromyalgia.

Is it bipolar or something else?
As well as this he has end stage copd and
spinal
stenosis
so things he can do are very limited. About every 6 weeks he goes from this poorly man who needs everything done for him to this nasty argumentative person.

I quit going to doctors and taking meds (hydroxychloroquine, enbrel and mythelprednosolone) and started crossfit which did help until I needed spinal fusion (bounce house not crossfit) which
