Spinal stenosis

I have nerve pain in the L4 L5 an a herniated disc and arthritis. The steroid injections I've had gave me no relief. Hence an upcoming appointment with a surgeon to talk about other options. I'm curious if anyone has heard of spinal ablation?

I have spinal stenosis which was diagnosed about 10 years ago. I get low back pain and also a tight right foot. I would like to ask if anyone has had similar and if so, have you any advice on how to ease this weird sensation.

After x-rays, physio and increased pred dosage, and being told I couldn't be referred for an NHS MRI scan I paid for one myself, which revealed the spinal stenosis and bulging discs. I had 2 spinal nerve blocks which have not worked. Am currently on 7 mg of pred tapering down from 15.

This is for the guy suffering spinal stenosis. I will be sling in colorado in 2 months9 months after the procedure. Immediately got back to exersizing with no limitations. Tony

what are the best pain patches that you can get on prescription for spinal stenosis.?

scheduled for hip replacement feb 20th, but back issues pain re spinal stenosis, degenerative disks, arthritis, very painful and worried about being able to do the exercises before and after surgery becausevbacknis so compromised, so seeing ortho on feb 13, and wondering about asking for steroid injection

However, since then I have been diagnosed with multilevel spine degradation and severe spinal canal stenosis. I have been listed for a lumber decompression in November/December. Some days I find it hard to work out which condition is causing the pains in my hips.

One of the options to treat my now diagnosed spinal stenosis and sciatica is a steroid injection. Is there any contraindication being on 2 mg pred? Any experience of this injection?

im on pred now sincec2016, originally pmr, now so many years later have osteoarthritis affecting hip, hands back other joints. Supposed to getvhip replacement feb 20th, as of nov 24 rbc levels, hemoglobin levels flagged ad low, all mobility restricted from pain, and they talk about exercise before surgery

As I have developed a stooped bent back owing to spinal fratures, rheaumatiod arthritis, recent hip replacement can anyone recommend a back brace or a posture corrector ,there are so many on line hard to choose especially if you don't know what your looking for ,can anyone help I also have spinal stenosis

I do have spinal stenosis giving me low grade back pain. I have now been referred to a neurologist. Had anyone been through similar?

I suffer from chronic glute/back pain due to lumbar spinal stenosis, but am unable to take NSAID's due to taking Rivaroxaban blood thinners. Is there any effective pain killer that I can take?...

stenosis, trapped nerves etc, and exrays show osteoarthritis to confirm theumy s theory, so the pains we experience then could have been masked by prednisone dose over the years, what are thoughts on this idea

happy to report that after all the stress & worry over hubby over the last few months re his spinal stenosis, and then all the hassle with the travel insurers last week, we’ve arrived at our gorgeous Singapore hotel en route for Melbourne and he’s doing really well!

I am reluctant to change medication and endure the consequential withdrawal problems because I also have fairly severe (and worsening) Spinal Stenosis which is likely to be life limiting.

I suffer chronic pain and limited mobility due to spinal stenosis and several bulging lumbar discs along with peripheral neuropathy I have been prescribed numerous medications to no affect, I have now been prescribed Naproxen please could anyone tell me if they have had good results with this medication

78 yo female, history of raised BP, cholesterol, spinal stenosis/osteoporosis/pre diabetic.

I also have mild spinal stenosis and have suffered in the past with quite severe sciatica in my right leg. I can't help thinking that there may be a connection somehow.
