After x-rays, physio and increased pred dosage, and being told I couldn't be referred for an NHS MRI scan I paid for one myself, which revealed the spinal stenosis and bulging discs. I had 2 spinal nerve blocks which have not worked. Am currently on 7 mg of pred tapering down from 15.

what are the best pain patches that you can get on prescription for spinal stenosis.?

However, since then I have been diagnosed with multilevel spine degradation and severe spinal canal stenosis. I have been listed for a lumber decompression in November/December. Some days I find it hard to work out which condition is causing the pains in my hips.

One of the options to treat my now diagnosed spinal stenosis and sciatica is a steroid injection. Is there any contraindication being on 2 mg pred? Any experience of this injection?

Dodgy lungs damaged by clots but not getting worse when checked except that they are because my lungs are being restricted by my back getting more humped due to spinal stenosis. I never thought about that.Can't operate - too old and not an easy op .

like so many on here I have far too many health issues ie, Fibro, colitis, a heart attack last year, scoliosis and cervical spinal stenosis, enough to cope with for sure but I also have severe RLS!

I do take slow-release morphine for my spinal stenosis back pain. Anyway, my family doc noted this crazy drop in my GFR from 91 (June of 23) to 47 (June of 24. ) I have had the test repeated x2 and result is the same, except for going down a bit from 47 to 46.
