Haven't posted in a while, new things happening
Turns out I have some
spinal
stenosis
going on in my lower back, and I wasn't supposed to have an appendix, but I do. I also have a very enlarged liver. Normal liver is to be 18cm, mine is 21cm and very fatty. So I had to make an appointment with my family doctor.

Surgeries, over medications, and misery
Been a year since spinal surgery and its been nothing bit trouble. The use of terrible anti-tnf over better meds because insurance wouldn't approve and now needing stomach and foot surgeries. When is too much too much? I might be learning the answer ;(.

Pete's angiogram
We have just returned from Pete's angiogram appointment and he does have sarcoidosis in the heart. It has caused the heart to stiffen slightly so may have been there for some time. He is doing well though and is being monitored. We will wait for an appointment to come through for the Royal Brompton as

New
Hi, I'm new here and have read quite a few posts tonight which I've found really helpful. I was searching the Internet in desperation, yet again, to see if I could find something different to help me relieve my symptoms and came across RLSUK, don't know why I've not seen it before. I blame it on sleep

Anyone has had an appointment with occupational health?
I'm having problem in getting to work because I cannot walk as far as the bus stop because of severe pain in my lower back due to
spinal
stenosis
and RA. My supervisor has referred me to see occupational health and I have an appointment with an occupational health consultant.

Excruciating constant pain
My latest MRI shows Scoliosis,
Spinal
stenosis
, and several herniated lumbar discs, one of which is pressing on my sciatic nerve and causing me constant, unbearable pain on the left side, from buttocks to foot. I only sleep two hours per night--if that.

New CKD Diagnosis....age 43
Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with CKD Stage 3. I am 43 with 3 children 21, 17 and 10. The damage to my kidneys has come about as a result of taking Naproxen and Ibruprofen for approx 2 years for a spinal complaint. I stopped all medication following a successful spinal fusion in June 2012,

Too tired to work
I now have Lupus also, Sleep apnoea (81 times per hr) and I think I have
spinal
stenosis
, but the MRI didn't show anything. I can only walk short distances before having to sit down, and the pain gets so bad if I try to carry on walking.

News Just In.....
Are you all sitting comfortably? I doubt that but I'll begin anyway! So with the lidocaine infusion a wash out I'm back on the hospital treadmill to see what can be done. I am reluctant to have any more spinal surgery, not least because I have so much scar tissue that the last time they had to go in

Spinal Cord Stimulator
Hi Folks, My PM doc seems to be nearly at the end if the road with me - I've been a chronic pain patient for nearly 40 years now - I'm 60 this month. He's listed me for one more procedure but after that the only option is for referral on for assessment for a SPS. He is not very optimistic about this

What a fiasco!
Hi there I am sure like a lot of others on this site that the process we all go through when diagnosed with an ovarian cyst is less than perfect. I feel like I have been on a roller coaster for the last 6 weeks as my cyst is complex with solid components, multilobulated and with multiple septations

Wanted, Really Good Exercise Routine For The Older Person.
Respiratory, breathlessness) and a back problem (
Spinal
Stenosis
) which means I can't walk many steps without support. I used to use the "Air Glider", non impact Ski type machine, I could do 20 minutes on that on a good day but obviously don't have one at home!
