My PSA is 44. Has been gradually increasing for about 8 years. I know the PSA itself is of little value, but see it as a tool. My Naturopath has had a number between 60-100 for 20 years. I would only become concerned if it started leaping upward. One biopsy was enough. Won't do another. No surgery. No

Hello everyone, I new on here and I am in the process of possibly being diagnosed with lupus. When I was 15 I had a major spinal fusion and shortly after my surgery I began having severe joint pain. My surgeon suggested I had arthritis in my hips and knees from my conformation. Several years later I

Radiofrequency ablation NHS
**Update I'm having round 2 today, and so far round 1 has led to a 44% reduction. Hi guys, Yesterday I was the 5th person to have radiofrequency ablation (RFA) within the NHS in the UK. This only works for those with healthy thyroid but benign nodules, so if that applied to you read on. I had to

Nervo Spinal Cord Stimulation
I am new to the site. I am considering the use of the Nervo device to relieve my pain. I am signed up for the trial next month and I wonder if anyone who has had experience with the device would share the benefits and any bad news.

What happens after a failed trial spinal cord stimulator?
I had a discectomy 2 years ago which although successful in an anatomical sense resulted in failed back surgery. I attended an 8-day course at St Thomas's on neuromodulation. A month after that I underwent a trial for a spinal cord stimulator. It didn't offer me much respite pain wise and decided

Military member seeking spinal health advice.
Spinal fusion complications post op that required operation 10ish days later. IM still having issues and starting my medical board out of the navy. I know I still have a lot of issues to deal with and I know my body tends to get worse with stress. Do you know of any stress lowering techniques or advice

Chronic pain with so much to live for but so little feelings of wanting to.
I'm so fed up with chronic pain everyday myself. I had a spine injury from a spinal cord stimulator trial about a year-and-a-half ago. I lost most of the use of my left leg and live a life of chronic pain. I can get around with a cane but the pain is so bad I find it hard to do anything. Even sitting

Hello I'm about to have a spinal fusion and was wondering if any other sclerry peeps have had the same and if your sclerry kicked off afterwards. I'm having a bone graft from my left hip and am worried it may weaken it as its the first of three. 😟

Spinal fusion L5-S1 for spondylolisthesis, pain worsening
Hi there, I had spinal fusion with instrumentation in Feb 2015 for grade 2 spondylolisthesis as all other avenues had been explored but to no avail. After a lengthy recovery things started to improve but then slowly worsened. Scans showed that excess bone had grown trapping a sciatic nerve which accounted

My Current Situation
I've been checked over for everything from
spinal
stenosis
, nerve damage, and muscle tears, to lymphoma, pancoast syndrome, and CRPS. Nothing seems to fit. At this point, the only thing keeping me going is my wife, who's loving and amazing in all kinds of ways.
