Oh my days, for about 2 weeks now every night my feet start to "burn" they literally feel like they're on fire! This then sets off hot flushes in me. The only relief I get is having a fan constantly on feet then blowing upwards to help the flushes! I have fibro, I have spinal stenosis with permanent nerve damage down my left side. I'm taking HRT Patches to help with flushes. But what's with my feet?! Why at night too?!

Hi Flawless and welcome! Oddly enough I suffered for years with HOT feet...I've had fibromyalgia for 25 years but assumed this was because I was always on my feet and suffered from terrible restless leg..strangely this all stopped since my current flare began..my legs are now very weak and mobility decreased by over 50%..I have osteoarthritis of my lower spine. I am not sure why me feet were always on fire and now the change..could be hormones but thought I'd share you're not alone...double check with gp just in case.
Yes my burn like that I think it was one of the first signs of fibro, horrible BBC's isn't it I smooth freeze gel over them it helps a bit.x

Hi Flawless_no1
I am so truly sorry to read this my friend and I wonder if your nerve damage could be to blame? I have pasted you an excerpt from *WebMD below:
*Most often, neuropathy is the cause of burning feet. ... Diabetes and alcohol abuse are by far the most common causes of neuropathy in the legs. Many other conditions can cause neuropathy or a burning sensation in the feet: Chronic kidney disease (uremia)5 Aug 2016
I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Dear Flawless, poor you. It's SO uncomfortable. I get it to, and in my hands...with pins and needles and aches in my calves. I have sjorgrens/SLE and hashis, but I also have antiadrenal anyibodies, and recent visit to doc said it was a symptom of adrenals not working. I disagree. Having read so many things on this and other sites, and done a bit of research...I think it's caused by nerve damage....presumably from the sle...could fibro have caused nerve damage? Any which way, it's horrid. I find magnesium baths before bed help. Also rubbing minty foot cream onto feet and legs. I hope it gets better. Ask your doctor what he thinks. X
Hi flawless and welcome!
I also get the burning feeling in my feet in the evenings (never at any other time of the day!) . I always have to hang my feet out of bed, to try and cool them down. I believe it is definitely a fibromyalgia symptom. I also get the flushes, I don't think they are menopausal as I went through my menopause 10 years ago
I also get numbness and aching (I describe it as heavy bricks in the soles of my feet) but this happens at any time of the day.
Sorry I don't really have a solution, but hope it helps to know that you are not alone in this weird sensation xxx
