Desperately seeking answers about hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism
Hi all This is my 1st post so maybe a little back story will help in February 2015 at age 44 I had a

I hate this disease.
Hi again I have written a few posts about blood results and symptom on what sort of thyrotoxicosos ( or however you spell it) I have. Right now I really don't care . NHS seem to really struggle with the symptoms and the diagnosis of our problems. I have had epilepsy for ten years and I promise you

Just wondering, when doctors talk about 'your age' during discussions are they perhaps referring to physical age, not chronological?
But if I added that there are complications because of asthma, GERD and bad reaction to anaesthetic,

To port or not to port
In April 2016 I was diagnosed with Stage IV after an unplanned but very much needed
spinal
fusion
surgery. My Mets was in my spine and in my pelvis. I’ve not been as fortunate as others as I was on Letrozal and Ibrance for under a year before scans showed progression in my bone.

Further evidence of the neuroprotective properties of exendin-4 (Exenatide) in a model of hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy. Exenatide is shortly going to be tested in phase III trials for PD https://academic.oup.com/brain/advance-article/doi/10.1093/brain/awy220/5079387

Weaning off Ropinerole
I will never take ropinerole again. I weaned my self from it a few years ago and it was difficult. I restarted it with recurring RLS. I was suffering Augmentation earlier and earlier in the day as early as noon and early afternoon if I sat or would lie down to watch TV. I don't like being reliant on

Reducing Pred and possible side effects
I've had PMR for 10 years and GCA for 7 years. With fairly recent GCA episodes over these years I've fluctuated on pred between 5mg and 80mg. Vicious circle familiar to many as you get low on pred then a GCA outbreak and up goes the pred and the slow journey down. Early episodes of GCA responded to 60mg

Surgery risk
I have been told I need a
spinal

but because of the anaesthetic risk i am not a candidate for surgery. Has anyone else experienced this?

Scoliosis and Osteopathy
The scoliosis was caused by my third
spinal
fusion
three years ago. After two treatments, am certainly straighter but the pain is really awful. Is it normal to feel great for two days after treatment, and the dreadful pain kicking in for days after? Very confused/at wits end as to what to expect.

Memory
I have been recuperating nicely from a major
spinal
operation-a
fusion
of C5-6 cervical-which has gone well and I’m now 8 wks post op. Ive had a few serious lapses of memory e.g. driving and forgetting other things. I have lost a bit of confidence but getting there.

Visual disturbances
I've read that PA can cause visual disturbances, and googling more I found that it can cause optic neuropathy. I don't have the symptoms of that, but I have realized lately that I may have another vision issue, vertical heterophoria. Long story short, I thought I was developing a phobia to driving. When
