Speech Problems with Type 1A CMT
I was only diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth 1 years ago because the doctors I consulted in regional Australia, where I live, have no idea about CMT. I was treated for 30 years for arthritis - God, I was so angry. I now have a spinal cord stimulator in my back to lessen the pain of the Scoliosis

to fix sciatica pain I had down both legs, I was introduced to the idea of using ginger ale when I take Sinemet. I was at Medstar Georgetown University hospital and was visited by a doctor and a few students. It seemed to work faster.

If any of you knowledgeable people have the time, could you please look through this list of what’s in H&B mega vits and tell me if there’s anything I shouldn’t be taking. I’m hypothyroid with antibodies and on levothyroxine. I take one of these vits everyday at lunchtime and take my Levo at approx

Acupuncture
Has anyone had acupuncture for severe back pain? I have had four lumbar spinal fusions, all failed, and now steroid injection has been suggested. I am very against this for many reasons but am a big fan of acupuncture for general health. Has anyone had needles down the spine and on the operation site

Acupuncture for back pain after spinal fusions
Has anyone tried this? Had the spinal needles yesterday and it was marvellous afterwards. Today feel really awful, in pain again and very depressed. The accupuncturist is no charlatan and top class in the profession. Obviously will be needing several sessions and I believe the results are cumulative

GPA and lower back muscle spasms
I was diagnosed with Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA) Last August and had 3 high doses of steroids and 3 lots of Cyclophosmahide at 3 week intervals, the result was not as good as rheumatologist had hoped for and she is referring me to a specialist clinic in Southampton, in the meantime my steroids

Boston scientific
I am just wandering if anyone else has the Boston scientific spinal cord stimulator implanted for crps. If so how often do you need it reprogrammed. I’ve had mine for about a year and a half and I’m on my 3rd program.

Pregabapentin and Cinnarizine
So many questions! GP put me on Pregabapentin because the pain and discomfort in my feet and legs kept me awake.Getting up and walking about eased it but can't sleep more than couple of hours and discomfort wakes me up.I have now started having bad vertigo and feel off balance in shops and often out

whenever I cleaned, I always used chlorine bleach and still do, I was never particularly careful about not breathing it in, also used methylated spirits, turpentine, kerosene and many other chemicals. Just wondering. Marg
