Anyone have hypercalcemia?
Hi, All! I've been doing pretty well since my diagnosis and b12 injections for 5 months or so. I still had some lingering symptoms that I felt were not related to pernicious anemia. Anyway, the other day I ended up in the ER with kidney stones and hyponephrosis (urine backing up into kidney, swollen

Chatbots Not Always Reliable for Cancer Treatment Advice - MedPage Today, August 24, 2023.
Seems AI for cancer info and advice might not yet be ready for prime time. For the immediate future, I'd trust something like Cancer Hacker Lab long before a Chatbot for info and guidance on treatment, esp. if it was other than SOC. * * * [i]

Hi group, Please can someone please help me out? Anything! Question about inner thigh pain. My mom started Doxil this June after new spots appeared with Xeloda after 1 full year. This July she broke her vertebrae (t4) this was a spot where the cancer showed up and she had a fall in the meantime

can rapid growth be malignant
I was diagnosed with AN in left ear 3 years ago. It is not growing but a routine scan a year ago showed another AN on the right side 4mm. I had genetic testing but it is not NF2. A year later it is 9.5mm and I was sent to an oncologist regarding Gamma knife. The oncologist says the growth has been

Thank you and more questions
First, thank you for those who have commented/offered advice on my prostate cancer treatment questions. Much appreciated as I move forward on this journey. I have recently read about a new tumor focused cancer treatment out of the City of Hope. Experimental, but seems to be able to focus action on

Continue on Eclipse Trial or not?
After my 3rd LU 177I&T injection my PSA had become nondetectable, and the nuclear bone scans could did not shiw any tumors. Originally had three tumors for spine two very small and one medium. They seem to have disappeared. Given the danger of unnecessary toxins from a fourth injection, the question

post hysterectomy issues?
I’ve just had a total hysterectomy because I had cancer. The surgeons assistant said there was a LOT of endometriosis stuck to everything. They had never diagnosed this (or indeed a second completely different cancerous tumour on my ovary) so now I’m thinking… what about the endometriosis? Is it all

PSMA Pylarify Test
Finally getting a PSMA Pylarify test after a PSA rise from 0.64 to 0.90 in 11 weeks. Should be interesting. No symptoms from the cancer so far. At the current PSA level it would appear there is an almost 90% chance of locating cancer somewhere. Also of some great interest to the doctor(s) is my status

Colonography
My colorectal nurse said I could consider a colonography this year mainly for peace of mind, as I get very anxious. My last colonoscopy was clear about 5 1/2 years ago and I’ve been told that any polyps etc are unlikely. But the decision to have the colonography is ‘up to me.’ Im having it in two weeks

MRI scanning could lead to major cut in prostate cancer deaths, finds UK study

A Kinda Update.
As things stand I have finished my BCG treatment which it seems has failed. I visited my GP and she asked how I was - gave me a script for to wet my mouth and some Folic Acid. I mentioned so pain I have in ribs - not very bad but there,. She prodded my ribs and yes there was some (not bad pain).
