Bronchial wall thickening.
My CT scan showed bronchial wall thickening. An internet search states that this indicates cancer so l assumed it meant progression of disease. Wondering if anyone else has had this report - my doc says she isn't concerned because this is an unusual presentation for metastatic breast cancer. I appreciate

Pre-Obstructive Hydrocephalus
My neurosurgeon has diagnosed me with 'pre hydrocephalus'. It's on its way. Saw the annual MRI scan and the 1.9 cm pineal cyst from 2018 has grown, beginning to block and ventricles have begun to swell bigger. I already suffer chronic and hemiplegic migraines and the symptoms from those mix with the

Topical treatment for multiple Squamous Cell Carcinomas
It is clear from the previous posts that quite a few of the CLL patients here developed multiple Squamous Cell Carcinomas, often requiring several surgeries per year. Have anybody of you tried any topical treatments, like 5-fluorouracil or Diclofenac ? If yes, were they successful in your case ?

I have Prostate Cancer Adenocarcinoma grade 7 "in the early states" hopeful? How long do the effects of the Decapeptyl injection last after?
I feel pretty hopeful of getting through, as I have been caught early🤞 I am in no real pain a bit irregular, BUT the effects of the Decapeptyl injection are really making me very short tempered, brain fog, short memory, etc, my general health is poor, from other medical conditions, so I'm a stay away

More Good News
More good news to share about cancer vaccines from Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC. Two of the three people highlighted in the article are MBC Thrivers and Survivors. One women has had no evidence of disease since January 2021. 🥰 The dendritic cells eat the tumor and teach the T-cells to attack cancer

Biopsy 2 years post treatment
One year ago I was successfully treated with MRI guided SBRT for a PIRADS 5, Gleason, 3+ 4 fully contained lesion on my right anterior. I was just told by my oncologists office (Zelefsky) that it is now standard practice at MSKCC to perform a 14 core biopsy to check for any residue cancer cells even

When a surgeon says he "got it all," it doesn't mean he did
It just means margins seem to be clear, pending pathology report, and the surgeon has no way of knowing if microscopic spread has occurred. Good article in the Washington Post. It may be behind a paywall, so I'll paste it here: "It’s a common scene: A patient recovering from cancer surgery speaks

Molecular Pathology
Good Morning All, If anyone on here has knowledge they could share on the attached pathology which calls out some mutations, that would help me to understand where I sit, and maybe more so, what I can do about it. When asking my Medical Oncologist to review it, he basically tells me there is no action

Anyone with experience with Trodelvy side effects and cold capping to save hair? Also how long did you take Trodelvy?
After one treatment of Enhertu I developed Intetstitial lung disease- ILD. I had high hopes for Enhertu and my oncologist says we may be able to try it again as I had Covid when I got my infusion. However my tumor markers which originally never showed anything skyrocketed so she had me start on

Abscopal cryo-immunotherapy trial
This is a couple of months old, so it may already have received a post. Basically it's a trial of a technique that treats a small part of a tumor with cryotherapy. As the cells in the tumor die they release antigens that the immune system, with the assistance of immunotherapy drugs, can recognize. the

Provenge Reaction
Hi Brothers, I don’t post much on here. Yesterday I had my third and final Provenge infusion. I did really well with the first two infusions except for a racing heart which subsided. Today I woke up and my joints were all aching, I had a headache and REALLY bad chills which have finally morphed into

PET scan with CT attentuation
Before deciding on treatment for recently diagnosed PC (Gleason 7 in 7 of 13 cores, a 6 in 3 additional cores) but is not believed to be outside the prostate. I asked my Urologist to schedule a PSMA PET scan. He told me insurance would not approve but would submit anyway. Yesterday I received notice
