Selective amino acid restriction therapy (SAART)
This is a follow-on from something that came up in the "
Cysteine depletion sensitizes prostate cancer cells to agents that enhance DNA damage and to immune checkpoint inhibition"
post. Some here may be unfamiliar with the idea of selective amino acid restriction. I have never been tempted to

PET scan ordered
Saw my Surgeon yesterday for a routine follow up and this was the CT scan. I have just hit my 5 year mark from R UL wedge and R LL lobectomy. He said he WAS NOT WORRIED. However, needed to do a PET Scan to rule anything out due to the radiologists report. He has never done this in the past. He said

Immunology clinical trial vs. Radiation?
Surgery in 2009, biochemical recurrence beginning 2017, and my slow-rising PSA is now up to 0.63, although my overall doubling time has remained pretty consistently over 2 years on average. Hi,It’s long time since my last post even though I still visit the forum daily. Few week ago my dad took CT scan and the result said the prostate cancer cells are invasive to his bladder. His oncologist also said because of that, he got blood in his urine. It happens quite often now, his urine turns

hemorrhoids or colon cancer?
Hi, I’m 27 and I’ve struggled with IBS for years, mostly IBS-C. Sometimes I’ll go through these bouts where it’ll be hard stool, then softer, and then explosive diarrhea. I had one of those last night and an hour or so later I went to the toilet again, only to see what I think is a blood clot in the
