The dark has me quit unsettled at times after my CABG surgery.
I’ve notice every 5 night or so... I’m completely sleepless!!! It’s because of the reaction I’m having to the darkness. After my surgery I noticed that I didn’t like the dark anymore... I narrowed it down to some reasons that started to make sense.. 1. My subconscious is traumatized and associates the

After 3x CABG, does anyone else’ Mind feel tired but your body just won’t “let go” and let you fall asleep?
Seems like after my surgery I’m having night time anxiety, hyper vigilant for no reason, I understand my body has gone through hell, but I feel better so why does my mind send me negative feelings?

I am 2 weeks post op and have this annoying irritating cough. Not a productive cough more a tickle cough. Is this normal? Went to the GP who tested my chest and back which were clear - thought it might be because I have a hiatus hernia and gave me some gaviscon but does not seem to have made any difference

Iodine Contrast - content
I had swelling of the feet within a few days after CT with iodine with contrast. This could be coincidence but the following link states that some contrast agents have silicates in them. Silicates are the cause of podoconiasis (a syndrome like elephantiasis of the feet.) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Is your thyroid problem related to Lyme Disease or another chronic, undiagnosed infection?
Since 2013 when I first began posting information about chronic infections and their connections with thyroid function I have been inundated, but not suprised, by the number of enquiries for information that I have received. In the last year these have increased markedly. I am deeply saddened by

I am 7 days post op for a cabg. How long does it take for the redness to disappear from your harvested vein sites. How long must you wear the compression socks for?

7 week update post CABG x 3
Hi everyone I thought I would hang fire before I posted an update as nothing really much has happened since my last post. Well today I visited James Cook and met with a Cardiologist not my Surgeon, which was a little disappointing as I really wanted to shake his hand and give him my thank you card, but

Painful breasts
Over the last 4-5 months my breasts have been extremely painful for about 3-4 weeks of my cycle. I’m used to some breast tenderness the week or so before my period begins and know this is normal, but the pain I’m experiencing at the moment is something else! And it stays for such a long time. I’ve looked

Dr. Colin Taylor, a pharmacist in Ohio has treated thousands of Lyme disease patients over the last 17 years. He is so impressed with how Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) has helped those patients that he started up an LDN program to educate the community on it. He utilizes his deep knowledge to assist doctors

Level of thyroxine replacement therapy?
Hi I wondered if anybody out there who has had a total thyroidectomy due to thyroid cancer, could tell me what amount of thyroxine replacement therapy you are taking on a daily basis, and if you feel the amount you take is enough to make you feel healthy and well? Thank you!

Total Coronary Occlusion
I went to my GP with chest pain that I had been suffering from for a few months. The pain was on the right side of my chest and apart from one incident where it REALLY hurt, mostly it started in both sides of my jaw, then spread to both armpits and finally felt like I had just smoked too much. It would
