down time...
Hi there everyone..I've been debating on whether to post this or not for the past 3 weeks as I don't want to sound maudling or negative as positivity is paramount after a CABG..and I know it's my responsibility to see my GP..but in order to save both hers and my time I thought I would ask if anyone else

The connection between Lyme Disease and thyroid illness
As many of you know it is beyond dispute that Lyme Disease and other chronic infections can cause thyroid illness, although doctors in the UK have not yet admitted the connection. Numbness and tingling after wrist fusion surgery
I’m nearly 2 weeks post op after having a wrist fusion and existing metal work in my hand moved about. The day after the first surgery I had no feeling or movement in my thumb, index or middle finger… so was then taken back down to theatre for carpel tunnel syndrome surgery. Was a definite improvement

Meeting my Surgeon tomorrow..
The day has finally arrived when I will meet the guy who is going to be doing my CABG. I have heard so many positive things from people on this forum about James Cook Hospital and the care given to patients. I know that the surgery will happen very quickly as the waiting lists are short. To tell you

Angina?
Hi, I am seeking some advice required from those who have had CABG. I had surgery about 15 months ago. all seemingly going swimmingly until about two weeks ago, when I started to experience discomfort in my left arm, akin to what I suffered pre-heart attack and surgery. Ache, and heaviness in my chest

But things are still not great, still dealing with ectopic beats, some days worse than others. The last couple of weeks if been getting occasional

Thick toe nails - fungus?
Toenails. I have thick big toe and pinky toe nails. Under one big toe is a white lump in the middle of the nail under the nail. I do not think it is a fungus. I used tea tree oil and oregano oils for months - and they are anti-fungal. I just want this "bump" to grow out smooth again. I cut my toenail

Advice Please: Organic Beef Bone Broth? 72 Hours cooking time?
Hello Everybody, As I pursue my endeavours to improve my gut biome, having made a good start on the Kefir, I am now looking to try and make this legendary Bone Broth. I have a few questions for those that are well practiced in this mystical art! I leave the lid partially on my huge cooking pot, if not

Azathioprine for PACNS?
Last month I was diagnosed with PACNS, or Primary CNS Vasculitis. I've been taking daily prednisone and the plan was for monthly infusions of Cytoxan. When I visited my rheumatologist this month, he recommended switching to daily Azathioprine instead of the Cytoxan. I've only had one infusion of the
