I had swelling of the feet within a few days after CT with iodine with contrast. This could be coincidence but the following link states that some contrast agents have silicates in them. Silicates are the cause of podoconiasis (a syndrome like elephantiasis of the feet.) ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
