Ongoing heart things
I was a member of the Online Community but didn't know it had changed. I had a CABG 13 years ago and have lived a healthy life since then until earlier this year when I started to get angina attacks. I didn't realise straight away, nor did one of my doctors, as the pain was more in my left side to start

CONTINUED TIREDNESS - 4 MONTHS AFTER BYPASS CABG
How many other people have this continued tiredness? As normal a life as possible, exercise, walking, sensible food, no smoking, no alcohol. Sleep is also a problem, but not from pain. Love to hear from anyone with similar and if there is ever a remedy.

Trouble sleeping
I’m a new heart patient and had CABG x4 6 weeks ago. Sleep was a huge problem initially as had horrendous delirium under anaesthetic and that continued even when I returned home after 12 days. All exacerbated by having to have 2nd procedure as bleeding internally. I’m so much better now and although

Antibiotics - amoxicillin
Sorry, yet another question. I've recently had a tooth infection and my dentist prescribed a course of antibiotics - Amoxicillin. I'm aware that this is one of the two most effective antibiotics used for cellulitis. Should I be avoiding using them for anything other than cellulitis, or doesn't it

Melanoma linked with CLL, close monitoring recommended - worth a read on sciencedaily.com
While studying a large group of individuals with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a research team made an important discovery: these patients had a sizable 600 percent higher risk of melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer. Although a higher risk of melanoma had been known, a full analysis

THREE MONTHS DOWN FROM CABG - Open Heart Bypass
I am a 68 year old male and new to this web site and so concerned about the worries that some people have about pre and post operation, so thought I would just drop down a few points and if anyone would like my personal thoughts about the procedure then please feel free to ask. I am no expert however

Post July 4th Hangover...then waiting for a long week to end lol
Apparently, when he goes in to remove the tumor, there's going to be a need to do some significant reconstruction of blood vessels, nerve endings and a
skin
graft
once the tumor is removed. So, that appointment went ok, even though it was late afternoon when I went in to see him.
