Dizzy / brain freeze
Hi Cartwheels
I know what you mean. Ibrutinib can trigger heart arrythmia (eg afib) which can make you feel dizzy or lightheaded. You may want to check with a cardiologist.
BTW, you might get more detailed responses if you lock or limit your post to the community
I recently developed a problem similar to this on Ibrutinib. Kept getting light-headed dizzy spells while I was sitting in chair doing nothing - on computer or watching TV. Had been on Ibrutinib 5+ months. Then I was taken off IBR 9 days ago for surgery... and light-headed problem has not recurred. I mentioned it to my CLL specialist when I last saw him.

I think I have had that happen maybe twice since starting Ibrutinib but just ignored it. Will pay more attention. I have been on Ibrutinib for 9 months.
This site, Oncolink, suggests you call your Dr. if you have dizziness and it is under the Heart Problems side heading.
Congratulations. Remission after 11 months is awesome. I’m 18 months and have a occasional dizziness but nothing severel.
I have some brain freeze a bit but I think I have had it for while before Imbruvica.
Be well,
Hoffy
