Is your thyroid problem related to Lyme Disease or another chronic, undiagnosed infection?

Since 2013 when I first began posting information about chronic infections and their connections with thyroid function I have been inundated, but not suprised, by the number of enquiries for information that I have received. In the last year these have increased markedly.

I am deeply saddened by the fact that there still appears to be no organisation in the UK that is willing to keep the public informed of the epidemic of chronic infections which can cause thyroid/adrenal dysfunction amongst a myriad of other symptoms.

Although the article below is over 10 years old it is a good place to start if you feel you need information on Lyme Disease in particular. Please be aware also that there are other bacterial, viral and mycotoxin infections that can cause chronic inflammation which may lead to symptoms which are often attributed solely to thyroid dysfunction. There is now a considerable amount of research relating to the affects of these infections.

I am happy to continue to send out further information about these chronic infections if you feel this might be of help to you. Jane x
