Full Recovery!
I am very interested to hear from people (or heard of someone) who have made a full recovery from Viral meningitis, or even Varicella zoster virus?

Running whilst on Antibiotics
Hi I've just come out of hospital for cellulitis (IV antibiotics for 5 days) and am now on oral antibiotics. Is it safe for me to go for a short, slow run?

Biologics applied for
Hi peeps, I'm just back from the hospital, having just applied for anti tnfs/ biologics. I was offered a choice of four: Etanercept (a biosimilar), Adalimumab, Certolizumab pegol or Golimumab. Initially, I was shown a sideshow of anti tnfs in general, then shown the injection dummies and told how often

Gremlin updates - Sensible Sue
She is always very logical with comments like "that pain in your leg is the start of
shin

, you'll make them worse if you run today. Why not wait till tomorrow?".

Numbness on 'stache area?
My God have I had a week. It all started when I met up with a friend who happened to have a cold sore below his lips. When I saw it I was automatically triggered because I remembered when I had a cold sore like that. For example, two years ago I had a cold sore that managed to turn itself into an insane

Calf tightness
I previously suffered badly with
shin
splints
so obviously don't want to risk them coming back. I want to run but also want to be sensible😇

Week 2 Run 2 Done.
I'm old, over weight, my knees hurt, I get
shin
splints
but nevertheless I'm determined to get on with it. When I lose the extra weight I am carrying the painful places will ease, I'm convinced of that. My wife, who is doing it with me is an absolute trooper.

Measles Killer: More Common than Believed
[i]A rare and universally fatal complication of measles is more common than clinicians had thought, a researcher said here. The disease is subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE) and in the pre-vaccine era investigators thought it occurred about one in 100,000 measles cases, according to James Cherry

Non Cancerous different colored moles all over trunk of body
My Grandmother and Mother have these. Very unsightly. I am beginning to develop little red dots or "red moles" but they heave them of all kinds and none of them are cancerous. Is there anyway to prevent or combat these? I really don't want this problem. I don't get sun exposure there so is there anything
