Are you under a specialist? If not you may need to ask to be referred.

Yes I'm waiting for an appointment which I hope will be soon. I have never had this before I seem to have had a tight chest/cough/wheeze for days , hoe long can it go on for ? Thank you for replying.

I can understand how you feel. I went from being symptom free for ten years to have three severe asthma attacks in very short succession. I'm now back on inhalers but recovering and getting back to being myself again.

The best advice I can give you is try to remain calm when things do flare up. I know its not easy when you aren't feeling well and can't breathe properly, but getting anxious though natural doesn't help. Easier said then done I know.

Thank you , no I was in a state yesterday but kicked my self up the bum and did lots of relaxation tapes and breathing which helped calm me down. Its awful I hate not being able to do all the things I could do a few weeks ago :) But as you say I'm sure I will get it under control ( fingers crossed) and get back onto an even keel.Thank you for taking the time to reply. I'm sure I will have so many questions ,glad I found this site as I know it will be of great help.

"Asthma Relief the Easy Vitamin Way." This book details how one woman stopped her asthma with only two vitamins. It has also worked remarkably for me in times of trouble. This may help you get on top of the Asthma.
