I just wanted to say to anyone that suffers from anxiety issues try and stay strong and breath, try and focus on something else ie looking at the sky , birds noise of
running
water, anything to try and ease your mind away from the anxiety that you are feeling..

Dilated right atrium
Has anyone had a mildly dilated atrium and would this impact me getting back to
running
? PS I have asked my health provider just waiting for them to get back to me.

Not running.. scared..
Just an update as I’m not going to be able to post a run for quite a while. I may post something in Active 10 when/if I can, but I’m not feeling optimistic at the moment. In fact the exact opposite. My new prosthetic leg is functionally promising. When it works I walk faster and straighter than before

parkrun
I am really enjoying
running
and was thinking of doing my first park run tomorrow? Is it too soon? I know I would have to walk a lot and I haven’t really ran infront of people before so quite nervous! Thoughts would be appreciated! Thankyou :)

Back into the fold 😘
I've started the Second Nature programme on the NHS Weight Management Plan and been
running
Mon, Wed, Fri mornings for last 2 weeks but didn't go out this morning as it was -5 and didn't want to slip and do myself a mischief.

Stent progression
I'm back to
running
and last month cycled 250 bike packing miles in France solo. Building my heart rate back up to my normal 170 BPM while
running
. 150 BPM cycling for short periods only. To note I didn't have a heart attack. I had exercise induced Angina.

so here I am again 🎶 😄🏃🏻♀️🐌🍁
it’s been a while… Stuff happening (nothing major)…weather too hot, too wet…maximum faffage… …anyway, no serious
running
for a few months, but yesterday I awake to a sunny autumn equinox, and decided it was a sign that it was time to reawaken my
running
mojo… So what do you do?

GRADUATE CHAT...OCTOBER...WEEK 3...COME on IN...YOU are WELCOME.
I challenge you to choose a song that you listen to when
running
...or of you don't listen then think of a song you know, and make up some
running
related words to it! Or at least one verse! I'll start you off... I used this, a couple of years ago... with HUGE apologies to ABBA !

Six-Pack Challenge? Any experiences?
Having just reached again continuous
running
of 5k again after an IC break, I’m all keen to keep on going towards 10k. I’ve been salivating about this Sixpack Challenge series ( https://sixpack-challenge.co.uk/sixpack-locations ) ever since it launched a few years ago.

Plan D no monthly payment too good to be true?
Looking at an expected giant drug cost for 2024 for my wife, and
running
the Medicare compare site it seems that the zero cost Wellcare plan has a lower total cost than any other of the 27 plans offered in my area.

Running out of road....
But I seem to be
running
out of cans AND out of road! I don't want to extend life if the quality of life becomes too miserable, so that's also a consideration. Your thoughts, as ever, gratefully received.

Week 6 was hard!
I love it when I realise I've been thinking about something else (not
running
) while still
running
. I'm holding on to those breakthroughs! The right playlist is essential and it'd be great to hear what gives other people's legs wings. Because I run so slowly, tracks with 75-85bpm are perfect.

Nasal / Sinus problems and Bad Smell?
And i've found that taking a small Loratidine Allergy tablet does clear this from
running
, but wonder if this is masking the problem or if I can take Loratidine long term? Anyone else experience this, with getting a horrible smell in the nose, and sinusitis pain/nose
running
?
