Raising funds - Brighton Marathon places

still looking for some volunteers - please like and share the below information

We have secured three places for Brighton Marathon Sunday 7th April 2024 in the name of The Pernicious Anaemia Society. We are looking for runners who want to help us raise awareness and raise money for the Pernicious Anaemia Society.

I'm not suggesting that anyone struggling with PA or B12 deficiency should volunteer but maybe you know someone who didn't get in the London Marathon lottery or someone who has always wanted to run a marathon and would help support a good cause.

Maybe your town has a local running club you could send this message on to.

Maybe someone you work with is a keen runner and wants to do a marathon.

Obviously we have covered entry fees and will provide running vests with PAS on. We will also help with promoting JustGiving pages to help raise money. We know people worry about having to raise a minimum amount for the bigger charities. Our goal is to cover our costs for the places and raise whatever funds we can to help us continue to support the work we are doing.

If you know someone who is interested ask them to get in touch via our info@ address at the Pernicious Anaemia Society which you can find on our website. thank you! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎽👟

I thought I’d message earlier but not sure I did . What’s the complete address to contact . It’s to far for me to travel as accommodation will be expensive. I can ask at my running group . Or put on Facebook . The next marathon I do I will raise funds . I’ve only done 1 and was a massive thing for me .

thank you! our contact information is info@pasoc.org.uk. I think this Forum has rules about sharing emails but hopefully we can share this as it is a public email address for the charity as on our website.

I’ll ask around and see if I can get some interest . It’s just a little too far for me 😞
