I've entered some races in 2024, one of them in Prague. Now, Prague is beautiful, but the run is on cobbled streets. A friend who has done it said it is sore on the feet and ankles, so wear support trainers. I've decided I could train on the trails, the bumpy running should build a bit of strength. So went online to buy trail shoes. And thats where the problem started, you see.
I bought the trail shoes. And then browsed the support shoes, and accidentally pressed the button, so they were waiting at checkout for me. Then one of those " you may be interested in these" popped up, and I accidentally bought a pair of winter gloves too. Along with an accidental purchase of trail socks.

It's a strange one but due to long covid, I haven't bought a single pair of running shoes all year... My wife bought me a new pair of Ghosts for Christmas last year as the pair I had then were getting close to the end of their running life. Suffice to say, my "new" pair might just finally get worn in time for Christmas this year...
That will be a good outing i think. I run a fair bit (10 half marathons this year, plus other distances and associated training). Plys I'm out coaching 3 times a week, so everything gets a lot of wear. That's my excuse anyway π
