I'm sorry running buddies, but I must apologise, but I'm now going to show off.I've only gone and made it to 5k, woop woop, it is including the walking, but I'll take that, total distance was 5.21km. After Wednesdays try at the Furious 5 where I went to fast at the start, this time I kept an ποΈ on my pace, after the warm up walk my first run section was just over 21minutes at 9:50 per km, I then turned back and next section was 10 minutes at 9:36 pace, I then did the 5 minutes cool down walk and stopped for prosthetic adjustment. After a couple of minutes rest I did a third run section, on this one I pushed just a bit harder and did just over 1km at a pace of 8:39 ππ₯ππͺποΈββοΈ.
I now have a good idea of what pace to start my running at, roll on the next Furious 5.
Thank you.Furious five in a series of 5 kilometer races organised by my local athletic club, my coach at the club entered me into one last Wednesday, I didn't complete it, as I went off way to fast at the start.
Congratulations! Showing off is perfectly acceptable . All runners understand the excitement of a running milestone π Enjoy the moment-you earned it.
