I work for the NHS and it's coming up to the time where they push staff to have the flu jab. My colleague is doing a flu jab clinic right after one of my meetings next week and I'll be asked to have it. I'm about to start DR for FET on Sunday and not sure about having it done during treatment? Ive had

Back on the running wagon but omg it's cold
Hi everyone I ended up taking a couple of weeks off the programme unplanned waiting for new trainers as the sole fell off my old ones 😳😂 I decided to repeat W6 and W7, half way through W7 again. But when I go out first thing it's really cold and feels much harder- am I imagining this? My husband said

Flu Jabs
I read a paper that a doctor put online about autoimmune diseases and having the flu jab. He said if someone with autoimmune diseases gets the flu they should ask their gp for antiviral drugs. Also he said that those with autoimmune diseases should ask for a dead flu vaccine and not to have a live vaccine

Under 65 and flu jab?
As anybody under 65 had a call from there surgery about having the flu jab this year? I read somewhere this morning that their are fears already they are running low. I've heard nothing yet. I'm presuming they are priortising the over 65's first. Tina.🤗

Flu jab
Does anyone have any specific views on having the flu jab when you have ET JAK 2 positive? Not sure if it’s a good idea.

Cold sore and newborn
Hi everyone, I’m freaking out as I woke up with a cold sore, probably post Cesarean. I have 3 days old newborn at home and I’m freaking out that I could pass it to him. Maybe I already did as I kissed him yesterday few times. Any advice? Should I go to A&E and check with them? So far baby is eating

Flu jabs and autoimmune diseases
Is it safe to have flu jab when you have autoimmune diseases? I always have had the flu jabs, but last year it gave me a very bad flu that lasted from November to mid February. I am too scared to Rusk it this year. It is so debilitating and usually leaves me with another health problem. Does anyone else

Flu Shot
When is the best time for us CLL'ers to take the flu shot for it to be most effective? The end of October, the beginning of November, or now?

Flu Vaccination 🤒💉

Flu Jabs
Just looking for a consensus of opinion, are people starting to have their flu jabs now? I phoned my gp the other day and sounds like they are nowhere near ready to start jabbing people. I’m starting to wonder that despite government assurances, there will be a shortage.

Flu jab
Does anyone have feedback on whether it’s a good idea to have a flu jab with PMR? It may be a coincidence, but my first symptoms appeared a few days after a flu jab. It may be that it was lurking and the flu jab triggered it. As a 72-year-old I’m being advised to have it but I’m a bit nervous.

Flu Jabs UK
I see from another post that some people have flu jabs twice a year. I am due to have mine tomorrow morning and was unaware that some people do have them twice a year . Is this just to serve as a booster or are there two different types? Also I don’t think that the NHS offers anything but once a year

Just had Flu jab in car park now frozen.
Oh yes the joy of being in the Shielding group and having to have the flu vaccine outside, well at least it wasn't raining as well as cold. So now back home frozen to the bone and trying to get warm again. Anyone have any idea why this year's vaccine and last year's is so bruising? I had to have a little

W8R2 - cold, cold, cold
Got up and the sun was shining through some holes in the clouds so I just threw on shorts and shirt-sleeved top and went for it. What I didn’t factor in was that, despite it being relatively sunny it was, according to my weather station, 2C and the average wind speed was 25mph. No wonder my arms were
