Flu jabs and autoimmune diseases

Is it safe to have flu jab when you have autoimmune diseases?

I always have had the flu jabs, but last year it gave me a very bad flu that lasted from November to mid February. I am too scared to Rusk it this year. It is so debilitating and usually leaves me with another health problem.

Does anyone else feel like this.

I have no intention of having the flu jab because it only protects against certain strains. Also at the moment I don't go near anyone and when I go out shopping I am wearing a mask and gloves as well as continuously washing my hands and using anti-bac hand gel. I think I am safer now from flu than I ever have been. I am 60 and haven't been offered the jab but my husband who is 65 has been sent a letter and he has decided against it. My husband had to have a covid test last week because he had a cough and cold which came back negative. I did not catch his cold because I am forever cleaning the house with anti-bac spray which just shows how effective the spray is.

Anti-bacterial spray may help to control bacteria but not a virus ... ! 🙃

Why I am being made to spray my hands everytime I enter a shop then?? I think you should be a government advisor because you seem full of useful information and they seem confused about a lot of things. I just got my membership renewal email which I deleted and I am no longer a member of the party because of the shambles they have made of Covid-19. My daughter still has restrictions even though her levels are the same as where I live ... I am sick of it all now.😒

So routine soap will do the job ! Putting sanitizer everywhere is just another thing to add to the routines ! Stand here - walk this way and so on ! I have read that anti-bacteria gels can have a negative effect on the gut bacteria - which in turn is part of our immune system - so it is important to keep that up to speed ...

Yes , that’s why I put gloves on then when they ask me to use gel I put it over gloves . I think all the gel use is going to cause more health problems generally

I have decided not to have the flu jag. I worry that fillers such as mercury, aluminium, formaldehyde and MSG although in tiny amounts might be too much for my already compromised immune system. I have a suspicion that a trio of vaccinations might have triggered my Graves and with not enough scientific research into this I think I will avoid it this year.

If amounts of ingredients are very small they do not have to be declared - according to Robert Kennedy. Of course they can and do accumulate ... sigh !

I don’t have them as I feel it weakens immune system further . We don’t need that!

You have proof that it doesn’t always work. AND adds to health problem

The authorities try to brainwash us to believe its necessary.

Vit c , good food and stay positive !!!!

We were made to have them when I worked for the NHS but I still got the flu because there are so many different strains.
