COPD
COPD My husband has been told he has COPD, the Dr. got him a nebulizer to use at home. Everytime he uses it, you can hear his start to wheeze, it's like it's giving him bronchitis. I never hear him wheeze, until he uses this nebulizer. Is this normal?

Cold tingly legs and feet.
I have other hypothyroid symptoms, but can’t warm up my cold tingly legs. My TSH is normal. What can help warm them up?

Here we go again, Flu Shot Thoughts
Trying to figure out what could be best, before speaking with my MD. Been on initial treatment ibrutinib since May 2020. Labs are good, ANC 4.2, WBC 8, iGG 450, ALC 6.2. Thinking do I get regular dose flu shot, or regular dose flu shot repeated by another regular dose flu shot two weeks afterwards

Flu jab
Well I went into the chemist to get my prescription and she said am I booked in for a flu jab and I said yes, later this month and the chemist said I could do it now if you like? So I said ok! My doctors has not contacted me about the flu shot this year or last year. Last year when I went to ask about

T3 Liothyronine that doesn't contain sodium?
Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows of T3 that doesn't contain sodium chloride? I have been suffering with water retention since starting on Tiromel and wondered if I'm sensitive to the fillers/sodium. T3 definitely helps me and I don't want to stop, but would like to find one that doesn't cause this

Vaccines bringing on AFib events?
I was at the Kaiser* clinic today for a skin issue. Going through my chart the nurse asked if I wanted to have the flu vaccine and the second part of my shingles inoculation. When she told me that they didn't conflict with each other and that worst case I would get subtle flu symptoms from each of them

Virtual 5k done
After a week of not running I was back out this morning for a 5k. It felt great at first but I was seriously flagging towards the end. It’s beautifully sunny but cold, most of me was sweating but I did get cold hands.

Flu vaccine
Hi, I experienced a PMR flare about a month after getting my flu vaccine in 2018. I mentioned it to my Rheumatologist and he did not think it was connected. I wonder if it was connected. Does anyone on this site feel that there is a connection?

Are flu vaccines different around the world?
Are flu vaccines different around the world? In sense - are they made to work against the same strain of viruses? Or, perhaps - each region (i.e. Europe, Asia) expects a different virus strain and someone vaccinated against flu in Asia will not have much protection from that vaccine after traveling to

Covid pneumonia. Whose loved one has recovered and come off ventilator?
My mom has been on ventilator for 15 days now. Her x rays were really bad 1 week ago and then suddenly she improved slightly. Her doctor says not a lot though. Since then she’s kinda been the same. No improvement for about 1 week. Her oxygen saturation is good. Although her ventilator oxygen is high

Would you recommend the use of sauna for someone with CKD or Kidney transplant? Any good experience?
I have been reading a lot about the benefits of infrared sauna in general about health(cardiovascular, inflammation, cognitive, hormonal). Some studies mention benefits to the kidney function (http://europepmc.org/article/MED/17267744). Before buying one I would like to know if anyone had positive results

Resuming Actemra... but now foot and leg pain. Any thoughts?
I had to stop Actemra for a month because of illness and have had a rough time resuming the injections. The first two injections brought headaches, nausea, flu-like symptoms, fatigue and a runny nose for 2 days ...memories of the symptoms I had experienced when I first started Actemra last November.

Hi everyone I am wondering when I should have a pneumonia jab? Would it be the same time as flu vaccine? I am on watch and wait and have been for 5 years.
