Permanent atrial fibrillation in heart failure patients as another condition with increased reverse triiodothyronine concentration
Don't know abou tyou, but I am not convinced that the reverse T3 is quite so innocent as simply being a novel sign appears to imply. Unfortunately, for now, this appears under the "That's all folks!" banner. Neuro Endocrinol Lett. 2016 Sep 18;37(4):337-342. [Epub ahead of print]

"Eye Popping" Atrial Fibrillation
Interesting article and finally one that explains what likely happened to me the first time I went to a hospital with AF symptoms. This is probably what happened when they gave me beta blockers at a hospital where the doctors probably don't know a lot about AF or neglected to do tests on me before giving

Low EGFR
Hi guys, I'm new to this kidney blog but have come on here as I am at a bit lost with it all. My EGFR is usually around the 40 mark with Creatinine around 160. Unfortunately I also have a couple of fractured vertebrae from my osteoporosis so I have recently been taking Amitriptylin for the pain. Now

Is this normal
I have had anxiety for about 4 years now which started after a very stressful time in my life. I was on medication but only for a short time because I was coping fine. In the past 2 years I have lost my dad due to heart failure, lost my job in the past 2 weeks. Over the past year since my dad's passing

AF on Channel 5 Doctors Behind Closed Doors
Although watching live it is on C5+1 at 21:00 tonight and catch up. Show a number of minutes about a patient with heart issues, issued with Apixaban and Warfarin. Included in this the Doctor talked about the risk of dying due to AF. He also has ischemic heart disease and heart failure.

Which way now !!!!
Have been off sick from work since end of July as my AF was all over the place and I was experiencing quite nasty chest pains. Had to attend A@E a couple of times but just sent home. The GP increased my bisoprolol to 10mg each day and eventually AF more settled. I was referred back to the cardiologist

Insurance
Hi all Thought I would pass this information on, off on holiday soon to Lanzarote, so the question of insurance had to be addressed. After many quotes anything from 200 to 400 pounds for seven days, was the norm, then a friend suggest I try Columbus insurance, after declaring copd, emphysema, high blood
