Air hunger now a serious problem now on oxygen!!
For the past year I've been getting more and more breathless. I ended up in hospital with suspected heart failure, but the cardiologist said my heart wasn't too bad for my age of 74 years. Waiting for pulmonary tests and to see a neurologist. I am on 20mcu T3 and 125mcu T4 . Same dose for over 10

Schema therapy failed me
Hi, I'm a 40 year old BPD sufferer, just coming to the end of a disastrous two years of an NHS Schema therapy trial. If I didn't trust people before, I certainly don't trust people now. I feel very let down by the therapists I was assigned, one in particular has been extremely unprofessional throughout

Sugar craving
Hi, I'm struggling with stupid sugar cravings. Are these related to being hypothyroid? I'm recently diagnosed and a week into 25mg of levo. I'm hoping its related but solvable once my medication is right?

A horrible, drained feeling upon waking up from a nap.
My breathlessness started about a year ago, which I ignored and I ended up in hospital with suspected heart failure at Christmas. My doctor put me on oxygen at night which I now use in conjunction with a CPAP machine, nights only. I'm still awaiting pulmonary testing, even though the hospital cardiologist

Doctors are told to curb overuse of oxygen in hospitals
This was in today's newspaper very interesting given theme of my last oxygen post. Study highlights dangers of unprescribed therapy and calls for better NHS training in what constitutes a safe ‘target range’ of oxygen in the body. Patients are being given potentially fatal amounts of oxygen because

Why am I so breathless all the time and for so long?
Can someone help me, please. I have been breathless since July, 2015. Things got bad at Christmas and I was admitted to hospital for 6 days with suspected heart failure. My blood pressure was very high and I had badly swollen ankles, legs, hands and tummy. However, the cardiologist said my heart

New to the forum - introduction
First time poster here. Have recently just started researching anxiety. The past 18 months of my life I have just felt not right. I feel like I have terrible sicknesses. I will look up some symptoms and find one or two and think I have those terrible diseases. The main thing I'm scared of is having

Is diabetes really a killer disease ???
People die either of
renal
failure
,heart disease, hypertension or brain stroke ! As a matter of fact diabetes is not even a disease . It is a disorder,a metabolic disorder. How can a disorder be killing? At best it is a nuisance. More so when it is a man made disease.
