Pace and Ablate - Symptoms of Heart Failure after pacemaker and AV node ablation
My pacemaker was inserted three weeks ago for symptomatic persistent a-fib that no longer responds to meds, cardioversion, or ablation. I had to wait for the AVN ablation since I am sensitive to silicone and the pacemaker parts are coated with it. I haven't had any rejection symptoms therefore my AV

Mixed feelings following first GP appointment since PMR diagnosis
The blood tests were contradictory, suggesting it was a blood clot in the lung and showed
renal
failure
, I had a blood thinning injection, also had chest xrays , then moved to Acute Emergency Care. Yesterday I had a CT scan (with dye).

To use Procrit or not? 86 with end stage renal failure
My Uncle is 86 and has end stage
renal
failure
. He does not want dialysis. His Dr wants him to start Procrit to help with the anemia. The side effects are daunting and he does not want to take it. Anyone have experience with Procrit?

Update
Spoken to GP at length this morning regarding this awful fatigue I am suffering from, and how awful I’ve felt since starting Amlodipine. He agreed reluctantly that as I’ve been slightly better since stopping Amlodipine a week ago he would remove it from my prescription, but has increased Cozar (Losartan

Does anyone else feel kinda gobbled up by dialysis? I feel like it ate my life.
In all the adjustments I've had to make dealing with
renal
failure
- I kind of lost myself. I used to be very social but time restraints make it hard to get out and see people. I hardly ever even go into the office since I started HD.

FINALLY
I am so thankful to those of you who wrote about the blanking period. I had never heard of that although I did realize that they would not consider my procedure of failure until three months and it could take 6 to 12 months to really have things kick in right. FINALLY I almost feel like me again. Of

For Eryl
I think Eryl will too: Brett85 8 years ago so some people with
renal
failure
will notice the drops in iron and some won't notice the drops in iron. Your big point is that while we are sleeping, our iron availability dropsfor all people but only some will have symptoms of that happening.
