Massage
Hi everyone, is it safe to have a massage when you've got heart failure and PAF? I rang my surgery for advice and was told that they didn't know. Wishing you all well.

Microvascular heart disease
How would a person be diagnosed with microvadcular heart disease? Are there specific tests?? I feel the young cardio doctor is just grasping at straws as I fit most of the critetia. He has no other explanation for my daily angina which has become worse since 3 stents fitted a year ago after m.i. I now

Second Blood Test
Ok, have just had results for 2nd blood test. 12th Dec gfr was 65 but I know I was not drinking enough. Now drink 4 or 5 cups coffee daily plus at least 1ltr of water but 2nd blood test was gfr 62 and creatinine level 87. I don't really know what any of this means and have an appt with the gp tomorrow

Constant AF and not good ablation candidate
I'm new here. I am a 62-year-old female and new to my diagnosis of AF and heart failure which was devastating when I first heard those words -- now I am trying to learn how to live and maintain. I’ve read many posts of people who are worried about AF episodes, yet I am in AF all the time. I have no symptoms

Post transplant CMV Mismatch
Hi All My husband had a liver transplant on 28.11.17 and having looked at his medication and read his discharge note it says he has been prescribed Valganciclovir as he has a high risk CMV mismatch. Having googled it - sounds serious - has anyone else come across this and I am not sure of the implications

Statins and sharp pains
Hi I’m new here. I’m on my 3rd statin (Rosuvastatin) having had Atorvastatin and then Pravastatin and seem to be suffering from random pains in my chest area. It’s not Angina as I’ve used my GTN spray with no real effect. The pains only last a minute or so at a time but are quite unnerving. I was
