Radiotherapy and adhesive dressings
Hi, I am having
radiotherapy
to breast/chestwall skin mets. I have an adhesive dressing in place and was advised at the planning appointment that the dressings would need to be off for
radiotherapy
to that area. A "bolus" is being used to enhance the dose to the skin.

Surviving Esophageal Cancer: “I’ve kept my promise”
Over the following three months, I had an intensive course of weekly chemotherapy and daily
radiotherapy
to halt the tumour’s growth and then shrink its size. Then following a period of rest to recover for the operation, I underwent robotic keyhole surgery on March 15, 2019.

Prazosin revisited
His answer was that the new study, although progression free survival and PSA kinetics will be measured, is primarily a feasibility study to help guide development of a large-scale clinical trial for use of Prazosin by men undergoing
radiotherapy
for prostate cancer.

Should I ask for a new assessment
I had two sessions of palliative
radiotherapy
, one week apart, in Nov 21 to help keep the lower lobe functional which did improve my breathing a little. I received no further treatment or consultations after Dec 21. I have improved a lot in the last 3 months.

Zytiga progress now moving to xtandi
Basically he proposed to move my drug to Xtandi (with no steroids) and give me one session of
radiotherapy
on my left hip which has apparently taken a bashing. I took Zytiga. For just 10 weeks. Any insights on Xtandi appreciated.

Anal Sex After Radiation Therapy
Hello, My PSA is .23 twelve months after laparoscopic prostatectomy. I am scheduled for a PET scan at the end of the month, and then a consult with my surgeon a week after that. I was able to resume bottoming with my partner about 3 months after surgery, and the sex has never been better. Now that

Anyone out there taking Flomax twice a day and if so, are you taking two doses at one time or spacing them out? If you are taking two was this on advice or consult with your doctor? My PA is suggesting I take 2 doses as I am getting up 8-9 times at night, of course the radiation therapy is probably

Husbands Oesophagus Cancer Diagnosis. No hope
The fear is that it has grown into his Aorta, or if the
radiotherapy
shrinks it his Aorta could rupture there is no way of knowing.

Treatment options for local PC that is resistant to radiation
I received radiation treatment to my pelvic area this past spring for castrate-resistant lesions in my prostate and two lymph nodes. A month after completing radiation, my PSA dropped from .22 to .09, but a CT scan showed only a small decrease in size of the lesions. Six weeks later, my PSA increased

post radiotherapy treatment
I have just finished 20 fractions of
radiotherapy
and am now struggling with the heartburn like side effects. Was wondering what are the best medicines or alternatives to help alleviate these effects. At the moment i am really struggling to eat and drink.
