what kind of specialist do I need? Likely PRD after pelvic radiotherapy!
finished chemoradiotherapy 7 weeks ago (for vaginal cancer). Developed severe pain in the bowel/rectum, which feels a bit like labour pain/period pain in the back. It’s constant and I’m taking naproxen and paracetamol daily. It’s getting worse and it’s accompanied by an awful shaky, weak feeling whereby

radiotherapy for a grade 2 following surgery
Yesterday I had an appointment with oncologist to discuss the option of having
radiotherapy
to reduce the risk of reoccurrence. I am really struggling to decide if I should go ahead and have this or go for watch and wait option.

Hospital update
She did wonder if I had a lung problem due to being an ex smoker (only for 2 months) and having had
radiotherapy
on my left chest for breast cancer 11 years ago. She said once I’d had the tests and she had the results, then she’d have a better idea. So I still feel in limbo not knowing for sure.

HER2 and ER positive breast cancer
I was originally scheduled for a lumpectomy but they found the HER2 & ER positive, so now chemo and targeted therapy followed by surgery and
radiotherapy
. I was very lucky that my accident led to a speedy diagnosis but I'm still dealing with the enormity of it.

Treatment options
I saw my Surgeon two days ago and was given to options. (1) Lobectomy (2)
Radiotherapy
. I do have some thoughts of my own, but I would appreciate any advice before I make my decision.

Recent diagnosis of Ductal Invasive Breast Cancer
My breast cancer consultant initially said he thought we could potentially avoid chemo and
radiotherapy
but it is now looking like I may need chemo first then surgery. He seemed to think it's been caught early enough for a good prognosis.

Surgeon is recommending he now speaks with a oncologist to talk about possible
radiotherapy
on this area of his head. He is not keen to have the
radiotherapy
as he believes it will possibly cause more problems with the RUX and he doesn,t want to stop taking the drug.

Questions to ask my Urologist after salvage radiation treatments completed
After completing an 8-week course of salvage radiation treatment consisting of 40 sessions, I'd like to discuss my current status with my Urologist during an upcoming appointment. What specific questions should I ask during this visit? He is a good surgeon; however, he does not offer much information

Alternate prostate treatment
I saw a brief article in the current AARP magazine. Wondering if this is accurate: “In a recent study of 115 midlife and older men with low- to intermediate-risk prostate cancer who had their prostate gland completely treated via TULSA-Pro (ultrasound heat), 96 percent of participants saw their PSA

As some of you read my moms 15-3 marker went up from 163 to 332. She’s been on her new combo for 7 weeks. Everolimus and Faslodex . She finished a five day radiation treatment to the leg in her bone on Sept. 29th and then they did a tumor marker 20 days later and it had almost doubled . This is

Need advice.
Need advice. I had prostectomy in February of 2020, then radiation therapy a year later as PSA rose. Now PSA is 1.23 and the oncologist now is recommending beginning Lupron injections. Would welcome any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks.

Now for something completely different
