I'm very independent been advised to take the chemo 6-9 sessions, then
radiotherapy

Enzalutamide just keeps giving and giving: Hot heels
As of the past couple of months I have had to sleep on my back. It is too uncomfortable to sleep on my side. The enzalutamide I am taking has made the muscles in my right arm rigid, so it is far too uncomfortable to sleep on that side despite taking the opioid Longtec (40 mg at night). Nor can I

Life following total thyroidectomy - what have you learned?
In January this year I completed the final stage of
radiotherapy
and am now trying to piece my life back together. I am on 175mg of levo daily and a blood test about 7-8 weeks ago determined that this was suitable (I do not have full details of the test).

Has anyone here survived 3 months after

on a NSCLC met to the brain? I'm concerned with my wife's prognosis as she has memory problems.

Dutasteride (Advodart) as an Alternative to ADT in Salvage RT Setting?
I know this forum is mainly focused on post-salvage advanced stage but highly respect the knowledge and opinions of the members here. There's clear evidence in the early stages of recurrence that Dutasteride (Advodart) slows or even stops the progression based on PSA results epecially when started when

Update on my father. Triplet therapy?
After my last post, my father underwent spinal cord decompression surgery - they did laminectomy and partial corpectomy of the fractured vertebrae and did pedicular screw fixation to stabilize the spine. It's been 2 weeks since surgery and he is prescribed bed rest for 4-6 weeks. After 1-2 more weeks

Advice after diagnosis due to Chemo
Hi I have just finished 8 cycles of chemo and 15 rounds of
radiotherapy
for breast cancer and all is good. However my recent heart scan compared to the one I had before treatment and one half way through shows that my heart has dropped a little.

Anybody familiar with this complication of radiation therapy? I've been fighting with my left leg for the past 4 months with increasing loss of function. It started as a nightime drawing of my left leg across my body and has now progressed to paralysis of the quad muscles and I am now having to use

Either
radiotherapy
or surgery. Really scared of the surgery due to the risks. And the risks of radiation from
radiotherapy
. How did you guys decide what option was right for you?

on the tumors, but stay on same treatment. I'm puzzled because this doesn't seem to be the way most of you are treated. Thanks for your comments Lovexxx Lucie

And right grade 2 3+4 , he was told there was 3 ways of dealing with it, firstly active surveillance ( as it’s contained) or
radiotherapy
or surgery which he mentioned robotic, and that was it, and then told we would be having blood test in 12 weeks . Any advice
