I'm new here and feeling blessed
After discussions with the Oncology Team they decided that because of the excellent results, I would not need to have either chemo or
radiotherapy
(but my decision which I agreed with) but to take Letrozole for the rest of my life and obviously as is normal with a breast cancer diagnosis yearly mammograms

Based on what I have read on this great forum, I think my father should ask about targeted
radiotherapy
for his spine metastasis and also about radium 223. Will the new Dr get pissed off if my parents ask him these questions?

Losing my determination
I've had my follow up appointment for that
radiotherapy
consultant delayed twice with the next appointment by phone due in a week. Hopefully that will not be cancelled but I'd have preferred an appointment in person.

Hi I am new here, and want to join the team!
I have completed 13
radiotherapy
sessions and 4 out of a planned 35 immunotherapy visits. We live in North Staffordshire having moved here in January from Cambridgeshire which has also contributed to my feeling isolated, this definitely wasn’t part of our plans this time last year.

LDR brachytherapy at MSK: Day after treatment
Hi all, I posted here about three weeks ago that I'd decided on LDR brachy -- radioactive seed implants -- as monotherapy, having decided between that and HDR brachy and SBRT. They were the three options that my RO at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) had said had very good and equal outcomes as monotherapy

Radiation side effects 25 sessions vs. 42
My next decision is what dosage I should choose. (I believe that a breakthrough cure is going to come within the next 5 years that will change the whole approach to treating PCa. In the mean time I am going down the path of SOC because it seem to be the best available choice to make for survival but

When are scans carried out?
Advised to have 3 more chemo cycles to reduce more before starting
Radiotherapy
. But no mention has been made about another scan. Would have thought one would have been set up before
Radiotherapy
starts. Comments please

Possible uptake after pet/scan but PSA is still 0.01?.
Hi Folks, I had a petscan in late August and 2 weeks later one of the Oncology team rang to say they were not sure but it looks like there maybe some uptake in the L2 where I had high dose
radiotherapy
last year & now have a spinal fracture of L2. Plus also possibly a spot in the Hip.

Phenytoin sodium long term links to cancer?
She has recently undergone
radiotherapy
treatment (5 week course) and in general has been a big success, but her recent check up has found new cells forming which they are concerned about. Has anyone else had any issues relating to this involving this drug? Many thanks
