Can a case be made for ADT vacation during a 4week radiation therapy?
I would like your opinions. It seem to me it might make the prostate cells more radiosenitive because they are dividing faster. I think I’d feel better during the Rad rx and would restart after Rad rx finished . On orgovx and zytiga. Bad idea? Don’t know? Go ahead? What do you think?

. By the end of 2021, my dad had a rise in PSA, from 0.2 to 0.7 in just 3 months. The PSMA pet/CT showed 2 lymph metastases in the pelvic area, between the right iliac externa and ureter. But the only treatment he has been offered is bicalutamide monotherapy.

Suggestions for keeping urine collection bag from slipping down leg
My 78-yo husband has to return to using Foley external catheter & bag, likely permanently, and is asking those with experience for suggestions to keep the leg bag from slipping. His previous experience has been unsuccessful with the slippage so bad that he carries the leg bag around in a bag or bucket

Facing my dad's dying days
Hi all, I feel like my mind has been spun around and now is facing in a totally new direction. This past week, my 98-year old dad completed his radiation treatment. Things felt very hopeful. His pain level has been way down ever since he was diagnosed with the cancer just over a month ago. The drugs

Gerson therapy: juicing
Hi all, New here. Primary caregiver for my 98 year old dad who has stage-4 prostate cancer diagnosed 3/9/22. He started lupron, and completed radiation treatment this past week. Getting the most out of Radiation: Radiosensitizers
This is my season for more radiation treatments. This coming week I will have 5 SBRT treatments in 5 days to two newly identified small lymph nodes found on my latest PSMA scan. Prostate Cancer Foundation : ADT: What You Really Need to Know .. "Who should not get ADT? "
"Who should not get ADT? Anybody else with prostate cancer. If you just have a rising PSA after radiation therapy or radical prostatectomy, that is not a good enough reason for a doctor to put you on ADT. If your doctor wants to put you on ADT to “shrink your prostate” before brachytherapy, that’s
