Why can't I sleep?
I
quit
smoking
3 weeks ago. I have been using the nicotine patch. I am still on the first step, but bought 2 weeks worth of the second step today.

If you need some motivation ......
I've just watched a documentary that was originally broadcast last Thursday on BBC2 @ 9:30 (I think) and if you have catch up or TiVo and can see it and need some motivation to stop smoking then if this doesn't convince you I really don't know what will. The second part is on this Thursday again on BBC

I am very sad. On Monday the 16th my mom passed away.
She had COPD but
quit
smoking
21 yrs ago. She also had very severe arthritis in her legs and feet. She suffered from depression but was in denial with that up until her passing. She was also malnourished, and has been losing weight for the past 3 yrs, quite quickly.

Thinking about stopping? Here's a place to start...
Only you are able to recognise and answer any of the above for yourself then you can work on the next step of moving towards your
quit
date. The key to successfully stop
smoking
and staying stopped, is all in the thinking, planning and preparing beforehand.

I'm still here.
Having
quit
smoking
since March, i've put on weight, yet since going back to work I have had some issues with a dizziness in my head, more like a feeling there's a cloud over it that I can't seem to shake off. i know I shouldn't worry, but my feeling is it is a lung problem..

Contemplating suicide rather than go to the dentist.
I recently
quit
smoking
and now my awful teeth are my focus. I know I will need extractions and fillings. I have had panic attacks for 6 years now and they have worsened since I quit the fags. I have had one sucide attempt in the past and am thinking of doing it again.

I have just brought some tobacco -:(
It's amazing, I'm 8 months quit and earlier I brought 1/2 oz of Amber Leaf. Why?? I have been working myself up all day and it got to the point where my anxiety had started to overcome me again and I could feel a panic attack brewing. I really don't want one, but it's reassuring to know that they are

Tips on getting the most out of your Ecig......so hopefully you wont need a real one :)
I have a few tips to help you get the most out of your ecig, and hopefully help you squash the urges. Ok firstly, when filling up the tank, always remove it from the battery, otherwise the pressure makes the liquid leak out. When filling it up, try and do it slowly so all the liquid runs down the side

Be totally lying if I said I didn't want a cig.
Bit of a traumatic couple of days which have culminated in my lovely 84 yr old mum being diagnosed with dementia. She didn't even know the day or month or year yesterday but was still smiley and happy,I hid in her kitchen after the G.P.had gone and had a good cry!! Just being soft.Yesterday I would have

Allergy Medication?
Hi everyone...I am new here. I was diagnosed with emphysema six years ago, and like a fool, have continued to smoke off an on. With the help of the e cig, I have weeks where I don't smoke at all, then I will break down, smoke a few, and then throw the rest out. I trust you won't berate me on my stupidity

8 months
Just thought I would pop in and tell ya how I'm doing. I'm now approaching 8 months and not much has changed a great deal apart from me doubting if quitting was the right thing to do. I'm now on my 4th cold since quitting and my hay fever is definitely worse this year. I'm not sure if its all because

What to Do if You Slip Consider a slip as just one mistake. Think about why you slipped and regain control by revisiting your plan. Remember that quitting smoking can be difficult and it takes full commitment for you to be successful. Common Causes of Slips When you’re quitting smoking, it’s natural
