Does anyone know a good London therapist for BPD (borderline)?
I’m looking to go private to get help for my diagnosis and was wondering if anyone with BPD (borderline) or rejection sensitivity knows a good affordable therapist or therapy group in London or online in UK? I can’t wait for NHS waiting list to finish. It’s really hard to know who is good as there’s

Great therapy session yesterday but struggling today
I had a great therapy session yesterday. I have been back in therapy since February for my health anxiety. My therapist helped me realize that my body pain and sensations is a trauma responce to going through cancer treatment. A lot happened: I was misdiagnosed for 8 months, my primary tumor was very

Back on meds... Why am I such a hypocrite? I'm gentle when supporting others but cruel, impatient and unloving with me.
I'm analysing this stuff in
psychotherapy
... The thing is, you can have it all seen, like you already know your inner deepest shit... but then I don't change how I cope with it. Anyway, just a bit of catharsis.

Uncertain
I want to talk to someone in confidence and I am thinking about self-funding some
psychotherapy
- I have had this before on the NHS though I feel this time I need to select a therapist who I feel is right for me and my needs.

What I have learned from 1 year with Early Onset PD - "Glass Half Full"
I decided to keep a journal of my journey - it has been quite a year but I have learned a lot. some of which maybe relevant for new and older PD people. I am not a doctor and this is not a medical opinion but there is lots available to make a stand against PD https://fightparkinsonsdisease.files.wordpress.com

Post-diagnosis frustrations
Hi all, this is my first post here. I just wanted to share my story (mostly as a vent because I don't know anyone else with ADHD and need an outlet/support group) but hopefully this is helpful to others out there too. I am a young adult (26) working in science and had suspicions that I might have ADHD

Venting my struggle with mental/emotional well-being
Quick backstory. I contracted Covid in June of 2019 and seemingly recovered July 2020. In Nov. 2020 I developed parosmia as a result of Covid which has altered my sense of smell and taste to a point where familiar scents/tastes are now unpleasant and even repulsive. Back in Dec. I had a panic attack

2 Months of Change-Advanced Stages?
Good morning all, I put mom into an Assisted Living place June 14th and now within just 2 months, her physical state has declined to the point of needing 24/7 nursing care. As much as I hoped (and was told) that the Phoenix would be able to handle her care, it was a joke. Part of me had to be understanding

So...my therapist thinks I should find an activity that will help take my mind off of my anxieties and help me get out of my own head. Any suggestions out there?

A little help
I’m losing this fight with Adult ADD. I have slowly made my world small so I don’t have to feel the pain of another person abandoning me again. Of course with this is the overwhelming depression. I’ve tried controlling it, ignoring it, telling myself it just takes will power but I lose every single time
