Psychotherapy will probably help but at the time I find it very difficult to cover the expenses... Does anyone else feel like I do? What can I do in order to live my life? I am stressed every day...

Seriously

I have got much better over years after psychotherapy, CBT and medication but OCD still rules a major part of my life. This condition is serious but quite often referred to as a cleaning disorder this is ignorance and l ack of understanding.

And we wouldn't be free untill we well i won't say solve it because psychotherapy is a long work but finish her tasks. Meanwhile the rest of my class who was signed to the other choosable subject was free and they didn't know we're busy so one of them sent me a reel telling me it looks like me.

I'M I CRAZY DOCTOR?

“80mg of fluoxetine daily, 3 monthly psychotherapy session for 2 year and weekly CBT should do the trick” Doc said. Ummmm yes it did for a while, but it seemed to fade like a cheap firework engulfed into the darkness of night. So, how do I feel today? Well from the inside nothing has changed.

Don't lose heart - you'll come through

Self talk is key - help other people to stop you obsessing about you and your illness - counselling, CBT & psychotherapy if called for. Antidepressants work well sometimes.

Off meds and absolutely worried / relapsing?

The thing is, I'm starting psychotherapy today. I'm absolutely terrified my depression will come back. As for my anxiety (I have GAD), I'm already feeling it.

Hello Everybody!

I am still going to psychotherapy regularly. I take antidepressants. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 4 rats and one husband. (😉) When I am not in the middle of a weeks- long anxiety episode, I am good at providing support for others.

Uncertain

I want to talk to someone in confidence and I am thinking about self-funding some psychotherapy - I have had this before on the NHS though I feel this time I need to select a therapist who I feel is right for me and my needs.

I, too, am still struggling

I have lived in my own apartment for 7 months now. I have no family and no friends. I am very lonely most of the time. I recently adopted a cat, and that has helped, a little. But otherwise I have a 50 minute conversation with my therapist once a week. This is not my hometown and it never felt like home

tired of struggling

my therapist just said she wants to explore the possibility that I might have borderline personality disorder. now I feel like there's no hope of living a life where each day isn't a constant struggle. I'm not down for a life of constant struggle. I'm tired. of everything. if it's all too hard all the

Cisgender Spouse

I’m new here. Struggling to come to terms with a failing marriage, gender fluid husband. Experiencing unrelenting pain and internalized suffering. Can’t find a therapist that has the LGBTQ experience needed to help me work through it.

I hate it here

I am really frustrated. I want to participate in a treatment program and while I was in the hospital I was recommended to do a partial hospitalization program because they are SO good. I thought this was a great idea and I immediately called to ask for help but it's super expensive and I can't afford
