Natural laxatives
Hi just thought I'd let you all with IBS-C, know that I have been using a natural laxative named Colon Max, which I purchase from Advanced Naturals. Over the years I have tried many laxatives both prescription and over the counter, but have found this product very good. I do not get any griping pain.

Autism: how unorthodox treatments can exploit the vulnerable
"A diagnosis of autism can make it tempting to turn to alternative treatments. But weighing up the scientific evidence is crucial - and potentially life-saving." Read David Robert Grimes' excellent piece on some of the shocking 'treatments' parents of autistic children are being sold. http://www.theguardian.com

GP poured scorn on ThyroidUK, how can I respond? Also asked for peer reviewed articles on T3/T4
Can anyone recommend peer reviewed journal articles on T3/T4 treatment so my GP can understand I am not making all this up that I have been better on combined treatment these past 5 years, and the recent 'odd' results are not proof of how I shouldn't be self-medicating via an online support group? Sometimes People Are So Awfully Bad...
Have you read the news about that total ignoramus who shot a Lion with a crossbow? An American Dentist who paid vast amounts of money to shoot Cecil the male lion...with a cross-bow. The lion was the subject of an on-going research project by a group from Oxford University...he was wearing a tracking

Struggling at work, tics getting worse
After years of problems, my doctor has confirmed I have tourettes. I have been working in a new job for the last 4 months as a Assistant Manager of a Pub/Restraunt. The first month was fine while I did my training. However since then, my tics have become severely worse, I am struggling all the time and

Okay my child was diagnosed with Dyslexia but it doesn't seem to be so serious .His grades are actually quite good now. However I've noticed when doing maths there seems to be a twisting around of numbers. Instead of writting 48, 84.But this child is also bilingual so

Anyone know what this is? I received the blood test reports from the rheumatologist but have not yet seen him. The lab sent the results to me as well as to him. He did a tremendous amount of blood work and all was negative except this 'anti smooth muscle antibody' which was positive. I see him in

My daughter had men B at 7 months old, she is now 11 and getting ready for high school. She has learning problems and some children at her school pick on her because she looks different! Problem focusing on what's going on .Remembering one minute forgetting the next.
Hello I wanted to ask if any of you have a problem like this where you know there is an extra event in your day. However as you get into your days routine you forget it. Making you look a bit stupid if not dreamy. Could be a meeting a work or something that you've organised like changing tyres and

Start all over again
well it is just after 8pm here in Oz and I just had a call from rheumatology to say stop taking imuran as my liver test came back and they have gone from 240 to 860 in the last few weeks. So now the good news is I have to start the three month wait again to be eligible for biologics on something new.
