Anxiety on holiday
Since on my holiday from last week I have constant anxiety symptoms, achy legs and arms, vibrating, chocking...this holiday was for the purpose to relaxing my body and mind! There is no much distraction here which I am unfortunately used to that, it is just a heaven, beautiful sounds of waves, sun,

Tourettes in middle aged adults
I would like to enquire from older TS patients (45 years and above) as to their level of cognitive functioning and employability at this time of life. In a nutshell , any worsening of comorbidities and not as relates to tics. Thanks in anticipation.

TBI & ADHD; why can symptoms of the former not become identical to those of the latter & then be treated as such...?
Hi. I've only recently discovered that adult ADHD exists and now feel I've finally been able to ID my late-onset symptoms after so much struggle & self-blame over the years. I'm 18 years post TBI and still struggling in ways I shouldn't be after this much time. However, what I've found impossible to

I feel hopeless about creating any hobbies, talents, and the like.
Now, I'm new here, so as always, I'm probably not doing this right. Bear with me, but I need some advice from someone who is not as incompetent as me. All my life I've lived in a haze. I mostly attribute this to my autism spectrum disorders and autistic tendencies. Up until a couple years ago, coincidentally

Ablation tomorrow
Hey guys, I’m scheduled to have a RF cardiac ablation tomorrow for PSVT and I thought I’d create a post here. I’ve had the condition since I was in my teens and now 12 years later, I decided to opt for the ablation. The irony is I haven’t had any episodes in the last few months (I’ve had the odd flutter

Is it autism
I have a 4 year old and I am unsure as to whether or not I should go to the GP. For about 2 years now I have questioned whether he may be on the autistic spectrum. I would say if he was it would be mild as he has reached all developmental milestones. However there are certain traits that make me think

Windwalker
I was posting regularly and lost track and now I have returned. My mom and her 9 sisters all had restless legs and some on them took Paragoric which you could buy over the counter as long as the druggist kept track and only sold you 3 ounces a week.. I don't think any of them abused the opiate which

Cardiac Ablation
So, after having a reveal device fitted I was told I'd not have to see my cardiologist unless something was picked up.......that day came and I saw him last week. Since having the reveal device fitted (for racing HR and palpitations) my heart has "paused" twice, once for 4 seconds and once for 9 seconds

Svt’s and Afib
I had cardiac ablation March 2018. Two week heart monitor showed some Svt’s and some Afib. On medication and blood thinner. What heart medicine do you take to control Svt’s? I have had multaq, tioksen, amiodarone, flecainide. I now am on metropolol, fosinopril, and eliquis. I have read on this

I'm a mess....
I'm a mess.. 41 yrs old.. been struggling with depression and anxiety since 10 yrs old, probably younger.. unmedicated.. I know I need to see a doctor, I just don't know how to begin telling my story.. I've been a daily crystal meth user for 17 yrs, and if meth isn't available, it'll be something else

Treatment resistant depression
Hi guys, I have treatment resistant depression. I have done TMS twice, ketamine, numerous medications.... I’m at my wits end. It affects my marriage my career my family. Therapy is a good release when I can do it but just an outlet and not much help. Is there something out there I can try?

Bisoprolol
Hi there, I was diagnosed earlier this year with SVT (a form of arrythmia) and have tried having the cardiac Ablation procedure which unfortunately did not work. A setback
Am in the midst of a setback with anxiety and emotions. This has been a very intense 24 hours with anxiety and at times it has been scary. Difficulty with sleep doesn't make it any better. I'm worried that I won't get past this. I am finding it hard to practice what I preach (acceptance, letting time

Embarking on the IVF road.
So after 4 years and multiple attempts with gonal f, an operation and a misscarraige we had a consultation today with the Dr after I over responded (again) this round. The Dr said we could either try a couple more rounds of ovulation induction seeing as it has worked once or we could start the IVF journey
