IPF and aerosols
Hi all, quite new to this really. Husband recently confirmed with IPF so trying to find things out, sometimes reading up is quite haed. Anyway does anyone know what the thinking is about using aerosols, room ones and deodorant ones? Also do you know if there is any harm in burning essential oils? So

Pyromania
Ok so I'm a 14 year old girl and I'm concerned that I might be a pyromaniac. I've always been fascinated by fire but recently my fascination seems to be turning into an obsession. Anything that explodes or could possibly explode becomes the priority of any situation, whenever I'm bored I find myself

If masochists like to torture themselves, wouldn't they do it best by not torturing themselves? If a Man is talking in the forest and there is no woman there to hear him, is he still wrong? If you get cheated by the better business bureau, who do you complain to? If you're in hell, and are

New Untested Compound to Allieviate SAD Symptoms
Every year my first symptom of SAD is sleepiness and brain fog, despite a mega powerful light-box, every morning. Then I get angry at myself for not being as physically and mentally capable as I was in the Summer. My anger turns inwards and I get SAD. My thinking and internalising ramps up then bam I'm

Anyone have/had Endometrial Hyperplasia?
Just been told after 6 months of excessive and almost continuous menstrual bleeding, that I have Endometrial Hyperplasia. I was wondering if anyone else had this or know if there is a link to Lupus, APS or Thyroid, which I've had for many years now.

What does this test involve?
Hi there, Has anyone had their 'anterior pituitary function' tested? I've got to spend a full morning in hospital on Friday having the test done and it sounds pretty comprehensive! Endo says he will be checking my GnRH, TRH, Short Synacthen. Does anyone know what kind of diagnoses or indications these

Tapentadol - Yikes, scary! Anyone else taking it?
I've been to the pain clinic for the first time today and the Dr I was was excellent. Asks lots of questions, was very understanding and gave me a lot of information. He believes my pain to be Neuropathic in origin and has prescribed me Tapentadol. It is a controlled drug and I had to show ID and sign

Motor tics in a 9 year old
Hi I am hoping someone can offer some advice. My son is 9 and a half now and has suffered from motor tics pretty constantly since he was 5. He only has simple tics and no vocal tics and no ADHD or OCD. They are hard to watch though as they usually centre around his face mainly the eyes. I thought he

Letter to nowhere
In June, after learning that the commissioner of the FDA has the authority to exempt a medication from prescription-dispensing requirements, I wrote a letter to the FDA asking for injectable B12 to be made available without a prescription. Last week I got a (mildly disappointing) response that reads

Violent neck tic? Advice?
My name is Alice, I am nineteen years old, and was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. For the past month or two I have had this 'head banging' tic that has only gotten worse. I wear a neck brace to try to save my neck, but I don't know if it is really doing much. It hurts to move my neck at all. I called
