Adding T3 to T4, week 1: progress report
Hi - I have Hashis. Following advice from a thyroid-sympathetic endo, I have, for the last week, been adding 6.25mcg T3, 3 x daily on top of my 100mcg levo. I've also been eating GF and for the last couple of days, DF as well. And taking various vitamin and mineral supplements as if my life depended

Interstitial Cystitis/Low Thyroid Link?
I took
potassium
citrate
to help lower uric acid for a couple of months. The thyroid is still bouncing and my energy levels come and go on a daily basis and am still having ultrasounds for nodules for cancer risk.

Amazing new find for anxiety/panic attacks
Just wanted to share something that helped me so much last night that it brought me to tears. The relief brought me to tears. I have struggled with agoraphobia, dissociation, derealization, severe long lasting panic attacks, not leaving my moms (had to move into her place at age of 24) place for 11

Blood test results - comments gratefully received.
I would be grateful for thoughts on these blood tests. Prior to these I was on 75mcg Levo. Subsequently the endo put me up to 100mcg for 2 days a week, but my GP has now raised that to 100mcg every day as a subsequent blood test my TSH had increased to 1.9 - with the aim of achieving a TSH of approx

Advice needed. New to AFIB.
Hello, Iām a 47 years old male in fairly good shape. Until this summer, I could run 5 km or bike 40 km no problems. Iāve had episodes of what I used to call āheart palpitationsā for years. It was always after an excersise sprint and would last for 30 second to one minute. This would happen once

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
My doctor suggested a bone density test but since there is x-ray involved, I am concerned.
There is a tiny amount of X-ray involved in a bone density test - about the same amount of radiation that you would get flying from California to New York. We naturally absorb about 1 mrm of radiation

It's getting easier
Wk2run3 completed this morning. Definitely find it easier to run in a morning instead of afternoons. Seriously considering getting up at 5 so I can run before work. Still getting cramp in right calf but can usually run through it. I started taking magnesium citrate because its supposed to help, it definitely

Help with NDT / T3 dosing please, and ferritin!
Hi there, I'm 49, and was diagnosed with Hashimotoās around 2014/15. I took thyroxine 50mcg for about a year, which didnāt help much, then increased to 75mcg thyroxine plus 10 - 20 mcg T3 per day (seems I donāt convert too well) I was actually feeling pretty ok on this dose, though not quite my old self

My (long) story
I was hesitating to write. First of all, English is not my native English. Secondly, I have discovered my IFA last week and it is a completely new thing for me. I would love to hear from you AS suffers if my symptoms are like yours. I know it can vary but on Tuesday I have an appointment with a neurologist
