Am I bonkers or is this actually a 'thing'?
I'm quite sure I'm allergic to Magnesium. About a year ago I took a Magnesium Citrate tablet. The next day I was so unbelievably tired, like I'd taken sleeping tablets all day. It was not pleasant and I think I posted on here actually. A month ago I thought I would have another go and I bought Magnesium

Potassium iodide
When my son and I became suspicious about 2 years ago that we might have an iodine deficiency, we stumbled on Lugol's Solution and took 3 drops of it in our food for a few months. Extensive reading brought me to "Betadine", a potassium iodide solution sold in stores as an anti-biotic for scraps and minor

Well that's annoying.
I've been getting and keeping intense headaches over the last 6 days. I went to Dr's last night and my blood pressure was 170 Systolic! They don't seem to bother or report the Diastolic reading here. So, meds prescribed and picked up this morning, along with a replacement BP monitor and Potassium

A Fib and the link to low magnesium levels
Hello every body I'm now 6 weeks post my third ablation (one for SVT and two for A Fib) and I am feeling great. I had a flurry of what turned out to be ectopics about 10 days post op, but otherwise no A Fib, as far as I can tell by checking my pulse regularly, and no 'events'. So far so good. Even taking

Magnesium citrate and flecainide
At different times I have taken flecainide in 100mg and 200mg slow acting capsules (CR) as well 100mg tablets 2x daily. I am now on 100mg CR (slow acting). Out of the above three, I get the strangest side effects from the 100mg CR, which is surprising as its the lowest dose. I struggle to explain the

New Here & Just starting on Levothyroxine but...
only 2 days in and finding myself feeling sort of worse :\ I'm not in the UK (Canada), but oddly, the only forums I've found so far are in the UK. I was diagnosed a few weeks ago (family doctor) but it took 2 weeks to get an appointment to see her again. In those 2 weeks I did a bit of reading and there

Does Taking A Laxative Affect T4 Absorption?
Good Day, Due to being constipated all the time, I take some Black Forrest Tea to loosen it down there so that I may feel lighter once or twice a month, but since starting T4, I have stopped fearing that the T4 will go too as I get flushed out. But, that has also meant that I've been feeling sluggish
