Hello
Hello all, just to introduce myself and tell you my story. My name is Ray, I live in Belfast. I have suffered with fibromyalgia for about 10 years now. About 16 years ago I had to give up work to move back home as my father could no longer manage mum who had Alzheimer's, mum no longer recognised dad

Constipation and Chlorella
Has anyone tried Chlorella. It is supposed to be good detoxifier and cleanses the colon. I already take magnesium citrate or oxide. I tried chlorella some time back and will try again as it has so many other benefits.

finding some help
Hi everyone I seldom write on this site as I have tended to use Action on Depression and the local fibro support group which are great. However I thought I would share with you how I am managing to reduce my fibro symptoms as well as generally feeling more positively. I have a long term emotionally

Managing return of pelvic pain and diverticular disease - Help!
Hi all, Well I have been taking Magnesium Citrate for over 1 week now (thank you to those of you who recommended this) for diverticular disease and it does help, albeit a bit painful and grumbling when having bowel movement and sometimes this can be very sudden so a toilet is needed extremely quickly

The Importance of Magnesium for endo.
Apologies for a very long post but my research has uncovered the important role of magnesium and the impact its deficiency has on endo. It's another piece of the jigsaw. You won't find the drug companies or doctors in their pay recommending supplementation with cheap magnesium. It's deficiency is widespread

Di's labs-Looking for advice. Would love to get some input on these latest labs.
Hi All, Here are my new blood results-I am hoping someone will have a look and help me with any advice. All these labs are done fasting except water, in the morning, no iron for 7 days before, no NDT before the draw. I am Hypothyroid and have been for a year now. I have been on Armour Thyroid since last

Thyroidectomy without potassium iodide? Still feel awful with 'in range' results. And how can I raise my TSH? Any great graves' endos?
Okay so I was wondering if anyone had a thyroidectomy without the iodide before? I've read it doesn't make a lot of difference but will I find a surgeon to agree?! My bloods haven't changed & endo won't check antibodies to see if they're coming down :( TSH <0.05mIU/L RANGE 0.4-5.0 FREE T4 12pmol/L

Which Levothyroxine & Liothyronine brands can be prescribed in the UK in addition to Eltroxin?
I'm surgically hypothyroid post ThyCa. I unilaterally stopped taking Mercury Pharma generic Levo in Sept, substituting with Mercury Pharma Liothyronine which I stopped taking 4th November. The result is amazing. I feel the best I've been since thyroiditis onset late 2010. So many debilitating and

Can anyone recommend a magnesium supplement that won't cause stomach problems?
I've recently realised that my ongoing stomach problems (cramps and diarrhoea) are being caused by the magnesium citrate supplements I've been taking even when I only take one tablet a day rather than the two a day recommended. I then discovered through googling magnesium that it is often used as a laxative

Recovery is Possible - Assuming You Know What's Really Wrong... Part 2 - Symptoms vs Tests - The Thyroid Piece of the Puzzle
I’m going to deal with thyroid today. It’s going to be long. Sorry. There’ll be overlap with adrenals because in looking at thyroid I discovered adrenal problems. Recount - felt horrible – exhaustion robbing me of story-time with my children. By 6pm I felt like I’d been run over by a truck. I started

Is this as good as it gets?
I am new to this site and this is my first question. In 2008 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. The internist prescribed Levothyroxine for me, which I still use. I am female, early 40's and vegetarian for more than 30 years. I am now using 175mg of Levothyroxine a day. I take this in the morning
