Antihistamines and tinnitus
I have had right sided tinnitus for over 4 months. I have seen ENT, audiology , MRI etc. There are no reasons found for the tinnitus. I am partially habituated but it can lead to loss of sleep at night. However, I get pollen allergies at about this time of year and start taking antihistamine - ceterizine

Histamine query
Can anyone explain Histamine to me in simple terms? All the stuff I've googled just goes right over my head. I have Hashimoto's and react very badly to mosquito bites, which is apparently due to Histamine? When I've tried Antihistamines, they don't have any effect. I live in Spain so it's a 24/7 problem

Higher pulse than average
I’m quite fit but am feeling as though I’ve run a marathon - heart rate up and air hungry . I have UAT and take Armour Thyroid. I’ve reduced the dose from 1 grain am and pm to 1 am and 1/2 pm but it hasn’t made any difference. This has been happening for about two weeks now. I also take HRT, vitamin

Small cell vasculitis and epidermis demostosis
Back in November last year,I got covered in a rash which was awful . Treatment initially was antibiotics and suspect strep infection. And then as it kept reappearing and visits to dermatology put down as vasculitis caused by covid vaccine of which I still don't really buy into. Here we are 8 months

So many questions ??
I am 71 years old, weigh 8 stone, generally fit and healthy. I have probably had RLS for many years causing the occasional sleepless night or restless evening in the chair. I had my first prolonged nighttime episode last November which lasted a few nights. Nothing since except tingling in my left leg

Hi hope everyone is ok. Just looking for some opinions and advice really as I am confused when it comes to my breathing. If you are in a bad mood or not feeling very patient the below might annoy you but I am just trying to be honest and describe my experience. Basically for the past 12 years since

Tip about antihistamines
I looked it up and antihistamines (Zyrtec, Claritin, Benadryl, et al) can lead to weight gain. Both water retention and fat. How so fat? I can testify Claritin causes intense carb craving which I indulged enough to gain about 7-8 pounds in fairly short order. Forget about serving size -- have a

I have been on Leflunomide for over a month. No really issues. Then all the sudden when I eat I cramp in my torso like a food allergy and get the chills. Antihistamines don’t help. Probiotics either. Has anyone come across this.? Wonder why it would start now.? I will say I am sleeping better with

thyroid rash on neck and chest, help please
Hello, I have Hashimotos hypothyroid and have been taking NPthyroid twice a day (60mg each) per my doctor due to my labs showing that I was still very hypo. I believe this helps but recently I have seen a thyroid rash on my neck, chest and stomach. This is very uncomfortable. My skin feels very itchy

Hives
Just wondering if anyone else suffers from this? I have been covered with hives for approx 3 weeks now. The antihistamine tablets aren’t doing much really. I believe this can be a symptom of Hashimotos and wondered how anyone else deals with it? Thank you

Rashes with lymphoedema
Hi everyone :-) I wear Class 3 Compression stockings below the knee. When the weather warms up, so do my legs and I end up with a rash on both legs. I'm then unable to wear the stockings to keep the swelling down. The rash can take sometimes four days or longer to settle. Does anyone else have the same
