Radiotherapy
Hello all, Went to meet the radiographer today, he gave me lots of sheets of paper that explained all the procedures, my first appointment will be just for planning apparently. As it will be my left side he said they have to look to see if it will be too close to my heart and if so I will have to use

Hi there, i had a mastectomy g3 dcis last year followed few weeks later by 8 rounds of chemo which have just recently finished. I have had all the usual side effects, helped by the anti sickness meds etc, but noticed the last few rounds, (every 3 weeks) that i came out in hives, progressively worse

Cetirizine antihistamine and AF
Does anyone take cetirizine long term, either with AF drugs or without? The rare side effects listed include fast or irregular heartbeat which made me wonder about it.

Question for Autoimmune Thyroiditis sufferers
Please excuse the length of my post. I have been considering common symptoms and a member's recent post about mucin has made me think. I would like to look into theory that suggests symptoms could be more of an immune issue than previously thought. I am 5ft tall and weigh over 13 stone. Strict

New diagnosis.
Hi everyone. I'm new here. I apologise if my query is already answered in other groups. I had a look through and couldn't find specifically what I'm looking for. This is going to be a bit long winded so please bare with me. I became pregnant with my second child in late January last year, and by 8 weeks

Red rash
Here is a picture of my very sore arm which is a reaction to the Humeria. I have this on both arms ,and it itches and stings like mad. Sometimes I wonder why we put ourselves through the different medications, especially as after all that they just stop working! I have seen the Dr and got antihistamines

Antihistamines and CLL?
I have been traveling for some time now and last week I caught a severe cold, the codral cold and flu tablets you normally get in Australia are not available here in Switzerland so I was reminded that antihistamines can really help, so I got these (1 a day type ) and the cold symptoms really cleared

Just diagnosed with osteoporosis
I went to my yearly gyn appointment and he wasn't there, they botched it up. But I had my bone density and the tech told me I have it and it doesn't look good. I was so upset I had to take a tranquilizer when I got home. As far as I recall, my last one which was about 4 years ago right before I went

Anyone found antihistamines trigger their IBS?
Hi, my IBS started while I was on a course of antihistamines to treat an allergic reaction to medication. They were my first suspects when it started, but after I looked up connections between antihistamines and gastric pain and couldn't find anything, I let that go and pursued other possibilities.

From normal to overactive thyroid
A friend of mine started taking antihistamine for what she thought was hay fever. Not long after she went to GP saying she was not feeling right. Blood test showed her thyroid was slightly over active (was felt not enough to worry about). Her health got much worse over the next 2 years I wonder was

Itchy New Year
For some time I've had an intermittent rash on my hand. If I remembered to use enough cream - mostly E45 - on it, it died down and then flared up again. iodine vs. bromine/chlorine
Something to think about. Bromine (in bread in USA) & chlorine (in our water) displace iodine in our thyroids causing inadequate function. As an aside, I'm recovering from the effects of being poisoned by pharma drugs (30 years antidepressants, four months chemo/steroids, five months lupron, nine months

Cisplatin anyone?
Hello I've reacted to my last dose of carboplatin, having had extra steroids and antihistamines as I also reacted to the last, second, infusion. It was working so seems to me that the most similar other chemo, which seems to be cisplatin, would be my best option. Does anyone have experience of cisplatin
