Good morning all! I have been taking B-Right for a while now (few months) taking it when I remember really but not with my levo! On Thursday I took it just before lunch and about 20mins later I had a Niacin flush! Not nice as basically felt like a allergic reaction 😞 a bit worrying! I took a antihistamine

Histamine Panic Attack
Well, what a day yesterday. Been feeling fine for months, aware that we're in high tree pollen season so have been monitoring my symptoms-taken the odd antihistamine when the light headedness kicks in and a general 'nervy' feeling. Yesterday I was busy with craft work and was probably just over 4 hours

Leflunomide side effects
I've been on Sarilumab for just over a year. My bloods are very good but have had several bad flares. Just added Leflunomide v. low dose at present every other day. I'm itching everywhere even though I take antihistamine for hayfever. Worried the itching will increase as the dose is increased. Would

chronic insomnia for 19 years
Hi I’m new to the sleep forum. Since a stressful event 19 years ago, I wake at 2am every morning from a deep sleep, and it takes a minimum of 3 hours to get back off. I am initially asleep within minutes as am always shattered in an evening. I know all about sleep hygiene and have tried a protein snack

Phenergan
I have been taking Phenergan for about 10 years, I took it as an antihistamine & sedative. I have noticed of late that it is making my asthma worse so have stopped taking it. I’m now suffering sleep deprivation & tired & irritable during the day. My GP does not know that I took the drug. Any advice

Problem with antihistamines
I have glaucoma and the treatment causes me to have dry eyes that have resulted in damaged corneas. I am prescribed Carmellose 1% eye drops. I was also prescribed Fexofenadine tablets for my allergies but decided to stop taking them as watery eyes helped to reduce the dryness. However, given the pollen

Long walk in the sunshine…watch out for the cows though!
Things have improved considerably with my knee problems which I’m thrilled about. It’s been so nice to be walking more-first out of necessity with runs banned and not comfortably with worry about when I’d start getting pain. Now I’m basically back to walking normally with just a little consideration

Cortisol help
I have consistently had low blood cortisol on pre 9am tests (around 220) and my two saliva tests showed lower than optimal cortisol, especially in a morning. However, a recent cortisol test showed it as 593 serum (101-536). This was a retest from one the previous month, which was around 300, the

Can Anti histamines affect eye pressure?
I have ocular hypertension and keep being told that my DVLA field vision tests are inconclusive. As I feel I can see really well, I’m wondering if my antihistamine tablets are affecting my performance. I’ve just googled this: Medications and Glaucoma:Over the counter medicines such as decongestants

Enzymes
I was prescribed Creon not knowing they contained Pork ( I'm allergic to it) and within no time I had a reaction and had to take a antihistamine. Back to drawing board as all of them contain pork. My GP asked my consultant Gastroenterologist what's her advice. I'm still waiting for my urgent first appointment

Rituximab Reaction
Hey guys, on Thursday I went for my first (1of2) Rituximab infusions...although I've had two rounds before. I have it for my IgG4 disease which has affected my pancreas. Anyway, it didn't go quite to plan. 😪 I had the pre-meds and was then started on the Ritux at a slow rate. All was fine. Then

hi, does anybody have any experience of contact urticaria or any effective treatment? I have PV and my symptoms are skin itchiness after shower but also when the skin is rubbed (contact urticaria ). Moisturiser tends to irritate it, and I have tried different antihistamines and they don’t seem to work

Asthma and hay fever
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I suffer from mild asthma, and my only trigger seems to be tree pollen induced hay fever. My hay fever is at its worst this time of year. This year, my hay fever has been particularly bad so far, which in turn is triggering my asthma. For the last couple

Latest Bloods - Dr requested a review
An update after my last post in February. Dr put my Levo up by 25mcg, so I have been taking 125mcg per day since the beginning of March. Due to no appts, I’ve eventually got the bloods done that I requested through the GP. They’ve just texted me a routine appt for May, after the Dr has reviewed my results
