Antihistamines
Pollen here in SW Florida (all over U.S., according to the news) is SO horrible this year. Was excited to try new antihistamine nasal spray Astepro, which says it works in 30 minutes and offers 24 hours relief. My question: do nasal antihistamines affect RLS sufferers the same as oral antihistamines

Introduction - RLS
I have been struggling with RLS for some time. There just doesn't seem to be anything that helps. Antihistamine medications only make it worse when I try to sleep. I have been prescribed sleep medication, but I am afraid to take it every night because I do not want to become dependent. Everything

I have allergies but also atrial fibrillation. Are the any natural supplements I can take to reduce my skin irritation, now I'm not taking antihistamines? The itching is doing my head in. I have been advised not to take antihistamines, whilst taking bisoporal. Please help

Liver disease, mast cells and antihistamine
I’ve just seen a post on X about mast cells and Covid-19 which mentioned a link with autoimmune diseases of the gut and the use of antihistamines as a treatment.. I wondered if anything was known about autoimmune liver diseases, mast cells and antihistamines. I found this 2017 research paper https://

RHR after exercise
I'm hoping people can help me with something that has me a little concerned. To give a quick back story, I lost 3 stone in 2022 and in early 2023 I started going to the gym. I attended regular spin classes, core sessions, HIIT classes and also ran and would have a gentle swim a few times a week. I really

Sorry :( me again (post surgery question)
Hello lovely community. You guys have been so helpful to me recently so wanted to gauge advice again. I had a miscellany of things done last Wednesday… copied and pasted exactly from my follow-up letter so I get nothing wrong: hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, Novasure endometrial ablation and laparoscopic

Hello All,We went through our first cycle of IVF in Jan and we are planning our next round in July. The first round we went in very naively and rather blind in terms of body/mind preparation. I have tried to guide myself as much as I can but I wondered what you could add to what I am doing. I am on

Antihistamine
Take one antihistamine each day for all the summer to prevent moskito reaction. Only way to stop suffering. I had reaction like this since i'm little. A doctor told me to do this. Moskito prefer some people over other. They like me very much. I don't think it's related to biologic. You need protection

Itchy?
Has anyone else had issues with being itchy? I am sure it's from the meds, as many have itchiness as a possible side effects. Strangely, it happens more in the afternoons than mornings...and randomly seems to happen in various places of my body. It never lasts for long, but enough to be annoying! My

Brill Pharma Levothyroxine oral solution 100mcg sugar free
I had problems when first starting treatment feeling chest pain and just abnormally weird when on Teva tablets. Once on the liquid solution I have been fine. Now my pharmacist say they can only source Teva and they gave me instructions I needed 75 ml not 5ml of this product which is also not sugar

antihistamines
hi 👋🏻 think I need some antihistamines to help my ETD. I’ve been using Sudafed last 2 days because the steroid nasal sprays seem to make my ears sore. I know you can only use them for a few days though. I can literally feel the swelling reducing and then swelling up again. So maybe I need an antihistamine

Besremi and Rux Combined
I was diagnosed with PV in 2021 and on Hydroxy for about a year. Then in December 2022 was switched to Besremi. I've been on Bes for a little over a year and gradually increased dosage to current 300 mcg. My platelets and HCT kept rising until my last blood work when finally the platelets and HCT

Lung Transplant + Fermented Foods
Hello, I have a question for lung transplant recipients: are you allowed to eat anything fermented? I may need a transplant in the near future, but I have a histamine problem which is controlled with antihistamines and DAO tablets. The problem is that the DAO tablets are essentially fermented peas

Does asthma severity tend to reflect that of sinuses?
I wasn’t sure where to post this but please tell me if it’s out of place as I’l move it. Basically I’ve had chronic sinusitis with polyps for over a decade. It is more chronic inflammation that’s the issue, with meds the polyps are only small/secondary to the inflammation. I don’t have asthma but

Antihistamines and Prednisone, are they compatible?
In the case of pollen allergies, is it ok to take an antihistamine while on Prednisone? I have mild symptoms, runny nose and teary eyes and so far haven't taken any antihistamines, but would it be safe to do so if symptoms get worse? I am on 4 mg for another month before attempting to taper to 3.5
