Bad rash after first CLL chemo.
Just started on a course of FCR 26 days ago I came out in a rash all over my body. It started a few days after my chemo. It is unbearable now and consultant says he has no idea why. Cannot start my next treatment due to this painful rash. I have tried different antihistamines HAs anyone else had

My first share back: 5 days post Ablation.
Hi guys, I'm a 48 year old male diagnosed with Paroxysmal AF in April. Always been pretty fit and just started noticing palpitations several times a day and some dizziness when standing up. Had a Cryoballoon Ablation in London under my company private health care. I had a general anesthetic so literally

Could chicken be an issue?
Hi all. I came across this today: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/jul/25/chlorinated-chicken-trade-britain-us-food-standards-globalisation and reading it I see that in the US they are pumping antihistamines into chickens, (mustn't have suffered enough in the cages). That got me thinking

Alternative to symbicort?
Hello, I've just joined the forum. I've had asthma for over ten years controlled mainly by using salbutamol and clenil plus antihistamines , but this summer it has been much worse because of the high pollen levels. My GP gave me a short course of oral steroids and then changed the clenil to symbicort

Can anyone suggest a natural remedy for my hay fever? It's driving me mad!
My hay fever is awful this year and I'm not even in hot and sunny England but much less hot and sunny Scotland! I don't want to aggravate my AF with antihistamines or interfere with my anticoagulant. Any ideas would be most welcome! Judie.

Should I get an allergy test ?
Hello... I'm new to this forum and joined to ask about an allergy I have. Whenever I eat walnuts (I've narrowed it down to these with a bit of detective work ) my throat tightens up and I get red rashes and feel rubbish for the rest of the day, it's not so bad if I quickly take an antihistamine. My

Haven't got the full set, because the endo didn't have access to a printer in the clinic (but can collect from GP): After 5 weeks of 2x 40mg/day Carbimazole: TSH < 0.01 FT4 - 18.7 (9-19.1) FT3 - 7.9 (2.6-5.7) TRAb +ve So FT4 has come down a lot, and is now just within range, FT3 is still over range

Does this sound like PV?
Hi, been dealing with what was thought to be a rheumatological disorder and just have not gotten a diagnosis. Saw a specialist in Seattle and she wanted a complete cbc and she found I had some elevated counts: super high wbc, high rbc (5.60), high hematocrit (50) and high hemoglobin of 16.5. I have been

Advice for a friend
My friend has allergy asthma (pollen, dust to name a few) she has inhalers from the doctor but she's given up hope with him, she's had it for years, she is in her 60's and generally manages things herself by trying to avoid triggers and taking antihistamine. What advice would you give her? I do wonder

Hay Fever on herceptin
Some reassurance for anyone suffering - my consultant casually dropped into conversation that being on herceptin can make hay fever symptoms worse 🙄 I've always suffered and take high dose antihistamine every day but still getting itchy eyes/runny nose, the whole thing. But now I know why...

Inhalers!
There is a history of asthma n my family and like my mother I started suffering around the age of 50. I have a nasal drip and excessive mucus. I'm allergic to cats and pollen to some extent. After a long bout of chest pain although spit as clear and not infected my doctor has put me back on Ventolin,

That elusive final run... Done!
Dosed up with paracetamol & antihistamine, I set out for my w9r3 session, the last run of the couch to 5k programme, my first run for 9 days & my first outdoor run for exactly 2 weeks. My God it was hard. I had gremlins hanging off every limb, really in the first 5 minutes when I'm sure I was doing some
