Hypnotherapy
Has anyone tried hypnotherapy or homeopathy for RLS. I did years ago but with no effect. I also read that antihistamine makes it worse. I do take one for itchy skin. GP advised me to buy an over counter sleeping pill and that contains antihistamine. Can’t have prescription one as have sleep apnea and

Itch inside chest
Still trying to sort out what happened to me last April. I spent a month being miserable after participating in a protest march. The inside of my chest itched. The itch was similar in intensity and quality to the feel of poison oak or poison ivy on skin. Every inhalation and every exhalation drove me

How can I rebuild neural pathways to regain speech and improve cognitive skills?
Hi All, I have ME/ CFS and Fibromyalgia as well as Hypothyroidism. Basically, in terms of cognitive function I’m under fire from all sides! I’ve struggled with all of these for over 20 years. I’m now 41. I’ve been on Levothyroxine for 15 years with increasing inefficiency, so started T3 a few months

Plan C is Plan A. Again.
Hi ladies, I saw one of the oncologist's minions on Monday and it didn't go as I was hoping. I've had 2 allergic reactions to Pacilitaxel and one dose of carboplatin. I asked about alternatives and presented a list I've gathered from info provided by yourselves. Thank you! She dismissed most of them

Is there any connection between BD and urticaria? I've been suffering from hives for the past six months. Reaction to pneumonia vaccine
Hi, I've recently started to take methotrexate for my arthritis and so as recommended I had a flu and pneumonia vaccine. The day after the vaccine I started experiencing severe pain in my pain and developed a rash and swelling on my arm. Also, I feel nauseas and just generally unwell. I was given antihistamines

UNKNOWN CAUSE OF ALLERGY (bright red face and neck, terrible itching and very dry)

Sore chest upon exercise
I was diagnosed with asthma May last year. I am on symbicort SMART regime 200/6 2 in the morning and 2 at night. I am on the SMART regime as the GP felt that more appropriate as I had pneumonia 3 times last year. I have salbutamol for dire emergencies. I've never had an asthma attack and although I have

Asthma and GERDS
I have been reading the posts here in regards to the connection between Barrett and Asthma. At 35 I had to go to the hospital as I was having breathing difficulties. The Dr said you have Asthma and gave me puffers. I went through a string of puffers trying to figure out which one worked for me. Through

First Asthma Attack Ever - Recovery Time?
Hi there. I have never had asthma before, however do have hay fever, some years worse than others. Back in June 2017 I slept with the windows open in 32 degree heat and there was a thunderstorm in the middle of the night, I woke up with a really tight chest and couldn't breathe properly. The doctor said

Jaundice with severe itching
Hi, I'm pretty new to this. My mother in law who is 65 has jaundice. She's had severe itching for the last 2 months. She had a stent put in her bile duct as they were blocked due to tumor growth. It's been 1 week but her itching hasn't stopped. She's going mad with the itching. Is there anything that

New CKD Stage 3 - opinions please
So glad, but overwhelmed w/so much info, to find this site. Just diagnosed w/Stage 3 CKD & sounds like many like me: Scared. I'm an active 69 yr old, 80% vegetarian, normal weight w/none of the typical symptoms for CKD, can only figure it's reflux & past pain medications or my love for sugar (not diabetic

6 years and still in the dark
I've been suffering with a chronic rash on my face for a little over 6 years now. I't got progressively worse this last year. I've been to various GP's and derma and they have just treated me for Rosacea. I really do not believe it's Rosacea. It does flare up and down but it NEVER goes completely. The

Help Advice please
I hve been on throxine for 4 years and felt unwell all that time, soon as I started 25mg it gave me what I can only describe as pressure in head and sinuses, each time I try to go up to 50, 75 mg this pressure pain in head with headaches gets worse, I then started with chronic migraine and dizziness.

Weals
For the last week or so I have been suffering from itchy, raised weals all over my body, mainly my legs, knees, elbows, side of tummy and top of feet. My washing powder hasn't changed. I have only taken 2 antihistamines during this time as someone said they are bad but they don't die down otherwise.
