Antihistamines
Hello. Please forgive me if I am asking a silly question. I am currently purposefully eating gluten based foods at least twice a day and I am going to request to be tested for CD after 6 weeks. This is because I have recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I have raised thyroglobulin antibodies

Wondering if anyone else experiences this with excercise?
Hello, I'll try to keep it short. I've had moderate asthma since I was about 5, I take flutiform, montelukast and an antihistamine daily along with a steroid nasal spray. I've never been diagnosed with excercise induced asthma and never had problems with excercise but to be honest that's probably

Levothyroxine and antihistamines
Please can anyone advise me if it is ok to take antihistamines with Levo? Suddenly I am having trouble getting my regular anti depressant (clomipramine 10mgx3) in a make that is not Teva (it causes itching).. I have phoned around loads of chemists and they all say they can only get teva and to take it

Cough Variant Asthma
Is cough variant asthma harder to treat or diagnose. There seems to be a lot more people diagnosed with it, which is good that it’s being recognised. I was diagnosed 13 weeks ago and am on my third change of medication, Forstair 200/6 now and my second lot of prednisone. I never wheeze, my peak flow

Hopefully through an episode
Woken up early hours not because can't breathe, but because I can and my body's not use to it. I have had asthma symptons for over three weeks, its been a prolonged episode. First noticed with a barking cough. So I started upping my preventer. Also started feeling out of breath, noticed the slowly down

Can Post Nasal Drip Trigger Asthma?
Hi, I recently was diagnosed with what initially presented as seasonal asthma over the summer, which settled but then came back after a cold, which lingered for the best part of 3 weeks and I needed steroids to get my asthma stable again... I am also taking Avamys nasal spray as I also suffer from Eustachian

Never ending rash!!
I had shingles in June - which lasted for a few months rather than the normal 6 weeks!! In September I went to my gp ( all the Nhs websites said no need to go to gp to be diagnosed as nothing they can prescribe) as the rash was going nowhere. I also had developed different types of rashes elsewhere

Antihistamine
Have allergic reaction to post op dressing which I must try to keep on until Thursday. Rang nurse at hospital and she suggested trying Piriton to calm irritation. Although of course they knew of my steroid history last week, I didn't ask the nurse on the end of the phone today if it was ok to take

Do I have an MPN?
Hello, I'm new on here but have been quite obsessively reading posts for quite a while! I've had elevated platelets for 4 FBC over 10 weeks and have been referred to a haematologist (await first appointment) and I have been waiting for 2 weeks for the JAK2 mutation result. My highest platelet count

Five months post Hydroxychloroquine allergic reaction....
It's now 5 months since my first dosage of Hydroxychloroquine and it's finally leaving my body I'm still being treated with high dosages of antihistamines and steroids but the urticaria and total body itching is abating; the latter has driven me to distraction! I have no other prescription drugs

Grateful for this Forum (continued)
Other info I've learned on this forum, for which I'm grateful: I refused a prescription for a dopamine agonist and tossed out a prescription for Wellbutrin after what I've read on here about augmentation AND other research, which suggested that Wellbutrin can increase insomnia---the very last thing this

Found this article on healthy eating forum so thought I would pass it on
This article ("What Happens if You Eat Raw Onions Every Day"), was published originally on the FoodPrevent.com website. The article explains how eating a raw onion a day can help with certain health conditions (cardiovascular health, type 2 Diabetes, lower cancer risks, etc.). Please see below for more

Hi all, my son has an emergency appointment with his consultant this morning after another admission on Friday (3rd in 6 weeks).
