Overcoming plantar fasciitis
Hi, I just wanted to share my experience of suffering with plantar fasciitis this summer. I found it started late July and could feel pain in my heel (especially worse in the mornings) but weirdly fine when I ran. It became worse when I went to Tenby in Wales and I was walking a lot but also squeezed

Joint/Muscle pain
Has anyone who is in Acalabrutinib suffered with muscle pain after being on it it for some time? I have terrible pain in upper left leg for over 2 months. After an x-ray and seeing a physio was told it was Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome which is a form of Bursitis. This , when I read up on it comes

Pain everywhere.
I've been 10+ yrs searching for answers. I had some bladder problems in 2013. Doctors did surgery. I almost died. Apparently they told me my blood vessels looked funny. They didn't know if they "knicked " me or what but I lost 8 pints of blood very quickly. They barely got me transfusion in time. I chalked

Very noisy ears and pressure
Hi - I have been diagnosed with TMJD - I have Tinnitus mostly in the right ear, but every so often I have ghastly whooshing in both ears very noisy and a feeling of pressure , is this possibly stress anxiety related? Or the TMJD effecting the ETs - I know it's a highly complex area, I have had this T

Diagnosis of Pudendal Neuralgia - 43, Female, Asia
Hello all, First of all, I am so glad to have found this group where people understand the debility that an illness like Pudendal Neuralgia [PN] causes. I had a very bad UTI that went on for 3 months, took 8 rounds of antibiotics before it was out of my system. In its wake, I have been left with PN.

Questions about recovery from Compression Fraction L-1- Kyphoplasty?
I've had hip pain issues for a couple years. No arthritis noted on x-ray. Mostly left hip, my favorite for sleep, but I still had one "good" side for sleeping. Haven't been successful learning to sleep on my back (yet). A new mattress helped, but after a compression fracture L 1 (falling out of

Total knee replacement - 6 weeks on
Hi Today is my 6 week anniversary of having my TKR on my right knee. I'm keen to start driving again and wondered if I need to get the go ahead from the physio first or what is the protocol? My understanding was that if you can do an emergency stop you can drive. I have an automatic car so I'll be

Proximal Myopathy
Is anyone else suffering with proximal myopathy affecting back, neck shoulder muscles and joints? I'm fed up of the pain despite physio exercises and swimming at a gentle pace. Will it ever go away? Diagnosed with Autoimmune Thyrotoxicosis in September and now in erythroid range.

Totally distraught and worried!!!
Hi everyone, I’m so scared. I really need someone to tell me everything will be okay. I keep crying as I’m so distraught this has happened. My husband is amazing but can only do and say so much as this isn’t happening to him. I really need hope right now. I’m soon to be 42 and am 5 months postpartum

changing hydroxo and methyl dosage.
I’ve been taking hydroxo 1500ug one injection a day for 2 years with folic acid and no improvement. A month ago I added methyl 1500ug one injection a day with adeno and it’s been helping but as not much as I hoped my physio has noticed a difference. I feel one injection isn’t enough! I’ve now decided

Abwn Inflammatory lower back pain
I have developed inflammatory lower back pain + neuropathy in my right leg over the past 6 months and have had RA for approximately 15 years. Am on Nordimet and hydroxychlorequine. My physio recommended amiltriptyline to help with pain. Worked for neuropathy but nothing seems to help with my back

Zolendroic acid after discovering compression fractures. Osteoporosis.
This is an update and a thank you really, as well as info for others. Last time I posted I was puzzled about back pain. Later after a scan revealed compression fractures I realised that the digging in the garden in July resulting in back pain which I thought was an old war wound slipped disc, was probably

Severe muscle pain after walking
I have struggled with pelvic pain for years. Beginning last summer, I started having problems if I walked too much. I would be able to walk with no pain, but four or five hours later I would get severe, raging muscle pain in the muscles at the front of my hips, my groin, and pelvic pain as well. For

Combining pregabalin and gabapentin
Hi - has anyone had any experience in doing this? I'm currently doing 150mg PG and 600mg GP. The GP is refusing to prescribe both but I'm finding I have better results doing this. Also has anyone had any recent experience with Botox? My physio came up with a very positive research paper on it and apparently

Hi All, my first post.
I`m 75, retired, had RLS for years, just lived with it in the past. Its now come back with a vengeance in the last six months. I think its worth mentioning the following. During December last year I fell seriously ill, taken to intensive critical care, with aggressive Pneumonia, Sepsis, even Covid
